Fit was very odd. Waist looks lower in pics, but is actually much higher. Honestly fits like and 80's throwback. Crotch was too long and bulging. I love LL Bean, but these pants were a big let down. I bought 3 different sizes because I was unsure of how they would fit all 3 were awful.

I wear an 18P in pants in all stores. A 20P falls off. I purchased a 20P and couldn't even button. You need to size properly.

These pants are gorgeous. I had to return. The waist did not fit, the tush and legs fit but I need elastic and pull on. My belly/waist is just too big. I can wear large and XL and even some xxlarge. I need elastic and pull up

Rated 4 out of 5áby Loverofcats53 Great pants!
I love the pair I ordered and the price was great. :)
The length is a tad short - maybe 1/2 inch longer would be nice, so I am hoping they don't shrink when I wash them. The waist is snug, but not too tight. I don't have the problem with the front pockets (sticking out) - I wish they were a bit deeper but there are other pockets to use.
I would love to have them in other colors but there are none left in my size. :(

Rated 4 out of 5áby MNShopperLLB Great pants, poor color selection
I first bought these pants in the eucalyptus color in and absolutely love them because they are so comfortable and fit my shape perfectly (5' 6" & 125 lbs #. They are especially good for travel #wrinkling isn't too bad with the tencel blend# where I really like to have useful-sized cargo pockets. I have worn them hiking in the heat of the AZ desert and dressed them up for an evening out for dinner. In late summer, I decided to get another pair; I saw the color selections and even though they were not appealing, I ordered them anyway, hoping at least one of them would be acceptable. These colors, however, were worse than I expected and I returned them both. I see now #Oct 2014# that there is a neutral "Dune Khaki" color and that might not be too bad. I really wish they would be available in a light taupe-like color. Maybe next year? I can only hope....Sorry about the pound signs. For some reason, this webpage converts my parentheses into pound signs and won't let me edit/correct them.

I bought these and the Southport Cargos at the same time. I chose these because the fit and fabric are superior. I love the soft tencel and prefer the slightly tighter fit. It sits high for my preference at about an inch below the belly button but I like the fitted legs and behind. The snaps at the pockets are great too, fast use and quick seal. These pants can be fun but are also sharp and professional. I am 5'6" 130 pounds and the size 6 fits great.

Just got these pants and I really love them! I'm 5'4 and generally a size 14 and that's what I ordered. These are a little tight in the waist but I'm keeping them anyway because the drape is wonderful even though the fabric is light weight - and they hit exactly right on the length. They fit great through the hip and thigh and look more professional than most cargo pants, maybe because of the linen. I really love the eucalyptus color. I also bought the blue - and they are more muted than in the online photo - more like a steel blue color. I wanted the brighter color, but will keep these anyway because I like the fit.

Rated 2 out of 5áby DivineMissM Too tight and too short.
Based on several reviews saying the pants were tight in the waist, I ordered one size up. It was all I could do to get them snapped. Sitting was impossible. (And, yes, I did try on both colors.)
Most Bean slack/pants/jeans run long on me, even though I am 5'8". These were borderline too short ... if they shrank even a fraction of an inch in the wash, I would look like I was waiting for the flood.
This is such a pity as the fabric weight would have been ideal for summer wear.
