I bought this sweater in Classic Emerald late winter of 2014 and loved it so much that I bought another one last week (French Blue). I have received numerous compliments when wearing both of them.
They fit as expected and are warm, but not super bulky. The one that I bought last winter has been worn and washed numerous times and still looks good. No pilling and no noticeable fading.
I would recommend this sweater.

I really love these sweaters. The weight is great for cold San Francisco winters -- er, I mean summers! -- the fit and styling are perfect for me (I am 5'6", 130 pounds, and I got Mediums), and I think the split neck looks good over nice blouses. I also like the longer length and its coverage of my backside!

I am 5'6", 135 pounds, and I think the Medium fits me perfectly. I really love the split neck and do think it looks good over blouses. I also like the tunic length -- don't mind if some of my hind quarters are covered -- and think the weight is just right for our cold San Francisco winters -- I mean summers!

I was thrilled to find this on the 2-A-Day special, and even more thrilled when it arrived. I like a long sweater, because I don't like it when my shirts hang out the bottom, so this was great. It's also thick and comfy. It looks really nice over turtlenecks, and I think it looks nice over most regular shirts too. I'm 5'6", 140, 36D and M fits perfectly. It's big enough to fit the girls without looking frumpy. My mother saw me wearing this and got super jealous, but she's a plus size and so her size isn't available. Hint, hint.

I was looking for a light weight white sweater. This is not a light weight sweater. In the past l.l. Bean had a great light weight cotton sweater but I'm unable to find it. It was also long. If it was available in petite I might consider it for a fall/winter sweater as I like the split neck style. My search continues for a light weight white sweater.

Style is long, tunic length. Fit was too generous. Size small was too much sweater for my 5'5" 130# frame.

The fabric is the same as other Double L items: a nice weight of cabled cotton that works great for winter as well as air conditioned buildings in summer here in Texas. The lemon color is true to what I think of as lemon. The splt neckline is nice for variety, although I am a little disappointed that a collared shirt worn underneath does not look that good with it. My only minor complaint is that this sweater is tunic length and that is purely my own fault for not noticing it in the product description. I like the shorter length better but will keep the sweater. Please LL Bean... make a V-neck version of the traditional crewneck and offer it in some preppy pastels!

This sweater was a great choice. It fits nicely and is not too warm, perfect for a cool spring day. it is by far one of my favorites and I will be purchasing another!

Finally a sweater that is long enough to cover the "problem areas." Most sweaters hit at the high hip and emphasize my worst feature. I've worn the sweater and washed it once, drying it on delicate in the dryer for a short while and finishing up on a flat surface. It seems to have kept its size and shape.

This is my fourth LL Bean cable sweater. I keep buying them because they are warm and they wash incredibly well. I wash them in the regular machine cycle and have even thrown them in the dryer on occasion, but they do not fuzz up, pill, stretch out of shape, shrink, or wrinkle. They may not be the cheapest cable sweater out there but they last forever and keep looking good.
This style is very flattering - it is cut a little closer and has enough length to cover the tops of hip hugger jeans. Even my 18 year old daughter approves! The yellow is a really nice color, not so bright it makes your skin look sallow, but not washed out either.
