Rated 4 out of 5áby SunnyCindy Good but short
Just received my first pair. I love the fabric, the waist and rise fit fine. However, there are two things I would change. The length is too short -- I'm 5'4" and these just come to my ankles. They'll be fine in summer with sandals, but look a little goofy with my socks showing now. The second is the extra seam running down the front -- it's not comfortable, detracts from the look, and is unnecessary for fit.
I liked these otherwise enough that I'm ordering more, just in Medium Tall this time.

Rated 4 out of 5áby peargirl High quality and thoughtful styling.
Quality fabric make these sturdy yet attractively casual pants. Love the pull on waist band for both the ease of dressing and a waist that actually fits without a large gap. I have a smaller waist with larger hips and found this style pretty close to perfect. I did order one size up due to the slightly fitted description of the seat area. I will be ordering more. Fabric may be too heavy for true summer temps but otherwise a nice year round weight. My one suggestion would be adding two belt loops near front pockets to allow a key ring to be held since the pockets are too shallow to really hold any item securely.

Rated 4 out of 5áby cjmac great fabric, comfortable fit
I love these pants, even though I gave them a 4 star rating. The fabric is great, holds its shape well, haven't washed yet so can't comment on that. The waistband is very comfortable. I ordered size 10 with regular length and they fit perfectly, except I think they run a tad short. Will think about longer length with next pair. The one thing I wish could be changed is the pocket size, way too shallow for pants that I want to hike and work in. What is it about pockets and women's pants? So often we are sold short. I would be so happy if they were offered in different colors than presently and pockets were made deeper.

I took a chance on these pants and was pleasantly surprised. I didn't think I'd like the elastic waistband. I have a small waist, so I've never purchased pants with a comfort waist before. What I discovered, however, is that they don't gap in the back like so many pants do on me. These pants are perfect for someone with a pear shape. I am 5'7", 120 pounds, and the size 4 medium tall fits great. I always order medium tall, and in this case, I really needed it. They are advertised as having a 32" inseam, but I measured them before washing, and they were only 31". The legs are fitted, but not tight, which really looks nice and the pants feel very comfortable. I agree with other reviewers who mentioned the shallow pockets. I hope LLBean makes them deeper in the future. I got the gray birch color and have just ordered the mallard blue. I've been looking at other cargo pants, and so many of them are low-rise styles which I despise. Thank goodness I found these which sit at my waist. I love them!

Rated 1 out of 5áby DESPAIR NO THANK YOU
Unfortunately LLBean redesigned my favorite pant the Sunwashed Canvas Pant. I needed to try another pant to take their place and I figured I would give LLBean a try. I will have to try another company. I need a relaxed leg pant and this pant is also fitted in the legs and it is tight in the knee are. I tried to buy a bigger size and it just exaggerated the too tight knee. I would have liked this pant because I was pleased with the gray birch color and I liked the waist band style. The pockets at the top were oddly shaped and too shallow and the fitted hip and thigh area have no place on a plus size pant.

Rated 4 out of 5áby FirstQuality Great pants
Was looking for a comfortable pair of pants to wear as an alternative to jeans sometimes and these were it. Love the fabric, a midweight cotton that's soft on the skin. Love the fit: the legs are slim, not tight, but not baggy. The waist hits me where I like it, just at the belly button, maybe a little below. For reference: I'm 5'4" 140 lbs - I bought size 10 Medium Tall (I buy medium tall in most pants since I have long legs). I'm back tonight to order the same size in the blue color - I think I"ll be liking and wearing these pants for a long time. Recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5áby hemster Love these pants!!
These are the most comfortable pants ever! I have to say I have an odd shaped midsection after have two C-sections so jeans are hardly ever comfortable. So glad I found these! I have been living in them! Can't wait to wear them in the garden! Now I need more colors!

Rated 1 out of 5áby Asianeagleowl Poor design for a CARGO pant
This product boasts good fabric, but the pluses stop there. A cargo pant should be able to hold stuff. These slash pockets are so shallow that contents are not secure. The cargo pockets have no flap, and just a cheesy, awkward button closure; men's cargo pockets are secure, why not women's? Finally, the multiple pieces of fabric stitched together make these look like they were sewn from random scraps. L L Bean designers need to look at past women's cargo jeans and present men's designs. This product is utterly disappointing.

Rated 3 out of 5áby Avian Sized surprisingly small
I wear 12 and Medium in several LLB styles. I ordered a 12 in this and they were 'way small -- very short rise also. They were nice-looking and quality seemed acceptable, and I was looking forward to the comfort of added stretch, but really don't want to have to order a 14.

Rated 4 out of 5áby Pinapp Tight elastic waist, too short in the rise
The elastic waist has to stretch out almost all the way to fit the size it Is supposed to fit. The rise is too short and which makes it tight in the crotch. You want a comfort pant to be COMFORTABLE and that means an easy, generous fit. The look is very trim in the legs, especially for a cargo pant, and the fabric is very nice. I like the look enough to try ordering the next size up, hoping it will fix these problems without being too big and baggy.
