Rated 5 out of 5 by closetothecoast Nice wear with anything shirt
I like these tees. I have 3 now. Just purchased the cream color.
They have a casual relaxed look and feel but cute and stylish. They could be dressed up too with a blazer and chinos or dark wash dressier jeans.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Seattlejanie my favorite shirt I've bought this winter
I don't know why someone wrote not to buy this top if you have nothing to hide. It doesn't fit skin tight but has a lovely drape to it and I think it is flattering. It is slightly fitted, and I think the color I bought (emerald green) is gorgeous. It is a lighter weight cotton so I expect I will be able to wear it much of the year. It falls at hip level, not like a tunic but a longer top. I plan on wearing it in my dance classes, where no one would be caught dead wearing a top that fit like a sausage casing.

Well something happened when cutting and sewing this top. The decorative front is not straight it is off by 1 inch. The right seam of the front placket is 7/8inch from the shoulder seam and the left seam is 1 and 7/8 inch from the shoulder seam. I will be calling them tomorrow to return the shirt.

Do not buy this if you have nice figure and have nothing to hide. I looked like grandma in this shirt.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Ladyinhersixties Love this top!
After reading the reviews I decided to give this top a try. I love it!! I have always worn a size small and I know that LL Bean size S runs a little bigger than a junior size S and since I have put a little weight on, 5'3" - 134 lbs, I figured the S would fit nicely. It does. I thought about ordering a petite but sometimes the petites are tight through the shoulders or sleeves are too short in other brands so I just went with the regular S. The fit is perfect. The sleeves are just to my hands and the fit around the mid section (I am short wasted) is roomy without looking baggy. the length is just where my hips and legs meet. The top actually reminds me of the kaftans I used to wear in the 70's and 80's and I loved those tops. I ordered the emerald spruce and the color looks like the picture online. I'm going to order another one in the dark blue. I haven't washed it yet but the fabric is good quality and the stitching very good. I will wash it in cold water, tumble for a few seconds to get wrinkles out and hang dry like I do with all of my similar knit tops. If it does not wash good I will change my rating and comments.

I bought 2 of these shirts, one for my mother and one for my wife. They both love that they came in petite sizes. They fit well and are very flattering on both of them. The only problem was the one I bought my wife freyed around the corner of the lace front and could not be repaired so I returned it. I purchased it again in the same color and size and it has no problems. My mom,an expert seamstress, said it looked like the lace was not sewn well under the seam and after 2 washes, it was very noticeable.

While I love the way this shirt looks, I've only worn this shirt twice and washed it for the second time, only to find the stitching is all coming undone on the front. I've never had this happen to anything I purchased from LL Bean before. There will be no problem returning it, just sorry to have to return such a pretty shirt.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Brucie2 Maine Isle Tee
I ordered the solid in Olive. Material is on the thin side...but darker color means no "see thru!" I'm 5'4" & 140 lbs. so the Large fits nicely my usual Bean size. I think the pin-tucking & high waist is very flattering! Living in N.Y. state, this is not a 3 season top. But definitely right weight for spring & summer!

Rated 4 out of 5 by likes2garden Pretty good overall
This shrunk in the overall length and sleeve length with washing in warm water and warm dryer. Since it was a plenty long to start with it worked out well. It has a generous fit at the bottom which I appreciated. The weight of the fabric is a little lightweight but most of the time that should work out OK. The rasberry color is a little brighter than I would have liked. I have only washed it once so don't know how well it will wear.

Rated 5 out of 5 by grandmaofAanl Good shirt for spring, summer, fall
I read the other reviews about this shirt and I had to write. I found this shirt to be very satisfactory. The fabric is nice, not too thin, there is no issue with the cut or how it washed. I have had it for several months and it continues to be a great shirt. I would like to see the stripe in more colors and I would probably purchase another.
