Rated 5 out of 5 by DCWWD Nice jacket
More breathable and a far more wearer friendly fabric than most rain jackets. I really like that it feels like actual cloth rather than plastic like most rain jackets. It's light weight which is great for summer. These jewel tone colors are my favorites. Runs big. I had to return mine since it was too big. I regret that I took so much time deciding whether to order this item. My size is not available now. Hope to get one if they are offered again next year! May order more as gifts for family members.

I bought it for raining days in nyc. Only medium rain would be enough to soak it through and you are all wet. Very unhappy with this purchase and would not recommend anyone to buy it. Plus, the upright pocket openings design is weir to use.

Was not very windproof...and very cold in cool weather, even with a layer of fleece underneath. seemed like the wind blew right through. Hood was way too big...Will not buy another one..!!

Would prefer handwarmer sidepockets which are better when it's cool and/or wet. Nice fabric for its purpose: not suitable for a downpour but breathes in a light rain. Hood adjusts well.

Rated 2 out of 5 by bobcatshields Wonderful colour, terrible performance.
The blue one looks great and I've received a l lot compliments at work for it, but it's not at all waterproof. The summer rains in New York have soaked me through a few times now as I carry this in my bag just in case (it rolls up nice and small), but I may have well not even bothered wearing it. It's not a good way to spend $75.

I like the jacket for below 70's temperatures. It is lightweight and, I hope, water resistant. The shipping was speedy and your phone people are a pleasure to talk with.

Looked for awhile, for a lightweight windbreaker, and finally ordered this. It is lightweight, as I wanted. However, the hood is huge! It goes over my head and down over most of my face. I can pull the cord, but that doesn't change the height! Useless. The other issue are the pockets. The velcro is very strong, so every time I want to put my keys in the pocket, which happens several times a day, I have to use both hands to get them out (unless the jacket is zipped close, which I usually don't do.) That is a pain in the neck. I will keep the coat, only because I haven't found a suitable lightweight replacement. But, I cannot recommend it.

Very lightweight and perfectly waterproof . Helped us survive a cold , windy and rainy week in Chicago. A bonus is that it folds into a very easily packed size.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Nickname1 Sizing issues
Though I usually take a medium, I ordered a small as Bean's sizes tend to run large. Tail was a little long to suit my tastes and the sleeves were 35," while I take a 33" length sleeve in a dress shirt. Jacket was a little baggy on me. I'd suggest ordering at least one size smaller than usual. If you normally take a small you may be out of luck.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Nomad900 Comfortable and well made
I was somewhat hesitant in ordering since there were no reviews - but I went ahead anyway. I am 5'11" 200 hundred and sleeve length is 35" and I ordered a large tall which is usually what I order in shirts but some llbean items I need an xl (sweaters). The jacket fit me just right for what I wanted. The length comes to mid thigh on me. If you look at the model picture it shows the jacket to be much shorter than it is. If you want it to ride higher you can use the draw strings to make it so. The sleeve length was correct. The color of dark khaki was true to photo. Although I have only worn it twice, it appears to be a quality item and I would not hesitate to recommend. It is a shell and in colder weather you would need to layer.
