Yes, I was impressed with the fit of this jacket and also the look...comfy and warm on a cool spring night, light weight and fits under my fleece when the temp dips cold. I was surprisingly happy with the overall purchase of this jacket and would but it again. The sizing was true, for me!!

Nice fit and great jacket overall. It almost seems too light and thin to be so warm, but it IS warm! I'm very pleased with the quality of construction of this jacket

This is my go-to Jacket for Spring, Fall and some days during the Winter. Works best with mid weight wool layering at lower temps. I tried it in the teens and can't imagine relying on its warmth in those temps for too long. Wish the sleeves had elastic.Tall size fits great with room for layers while retaining good mobility. Packs small and light for backpacking.

Rated 4 out of 5áby Guildnavigator Nice Warmup Jacket
I found this jacket does not breath well during heavy exercise. Out snowshoeing this winter I'd be a bit damp wearing this jacket. It would have a sheen of moisture on the inner liner when I took it off.
However it is very light and comfortable to wear when at rest. Would make a nice warm-up jacket to pack along and wear when resting.

We love to be outside - backpacking, hiking, snowshoeing (we are in Colorado), cycling, running etc. Over the years, I have tried all of the new jackets and vests from almost every brand and this one is by far the best! I first used my Primaloft jacket when we traveled to Indiana for Thanksgiving and it was 18 degrees outside. I went for a run and was comfortable the entire time! Plus, it is so lightweight that packing it is a breeze. I love my jacket so much that I bought one for my dad and husband. My dad was skeptical because he also has plenty of jackets and it is also his favorite!
I am not sure how this jacket can be topped.

I reviewed this jacket last fall. It was surprisingly warm then and guess what, it is the same this spring. It has become a grab and go jacket when temps are in the upper 40's and 50's. It is too warm to wear much over 55 degrees.
I suspect there are people that take advantage of any venue to express negative feelings. Therefore, please take such expressions with a grain of salt. Common sense would dictate this jacket is not meant for -15 degrees but I suspect it would work at that temp with layering. I have worn it with a polo and sweater in 20 degree weather shoveling snow and was sweating during the process. It is a very good, lightweight jacket.

I recently posted a review saying how great this jacket was and praising the lean fit. I ordered another in a different color. Apparently in the meantime (less than a month) llbean changed the fit.
It is now baggier in the body (picture a very fancy garbage bag) and the arm length is freakishly long. If you are currently employed by either the NBA or a circus sideshow, the tall size may fit you well. Otherwise pass.

This is a great lightweight jacket!
I hate driving while wearing my multi-layer coat. It's especially uncomfortable when driving my roadster. It has body hugging racing seats that don't leave room for thick layers of clothing. This jacket is perfect for that. It's also nice that it won't occupy very much of the limited trunk space.
Most of the negative reviews center around it's warmth and/or sizing.
I normally purchase medium shirts, and the medium in this jacket fit just as expected.
This jacket is a compromise between size/wight vs. warmth. Keep that in mind. It is a supplement to, but not a replacement for a good winter coat (at least for most climates).
I'll also add that I'm super pleased with the green color. I normally gravitate towards greys, but the green looks great.

I have 3 of the old style Primaloft Pullover Jackets. 2 have been used hard along the Appalachian Trail in 3.5 seasons (fall, winter, spring.) I recently bought 2 more of the full zip jackets. I've worn them hiking with just a thin synthetic top and with a Bean Down Vest in colder temps. Due to the quilted panels it does let some cold air through but for me that just keeps me comfortable (no sweat.) At night I some times wear it to sleep as I use a down quilt in stead of a sleeping bag. Other times it's used as a pillow. In colder temps I sometimes use a Bean shell. For my money the Primaloft Jacket is one of the best offered by any dealer.
I also use it on winter Mt. Bike rides as it the outer shell sheds moister very well. Great Jacket. Get one!
