Within 30 minutes of wearing this on a camping trip, it frayed in several areas. Also, I did not get a tight fit on purpose, but the first time I tried to pull this off when I was sweaty I still could hear the stitching start to tear. Not very resilient. Be careful taking it off. Don't grab the back of the collar and lift... rather, get it a little big, cross your arms, and lift from the bottom hem of the shirt upward.

For the most part I like this shirt. It's comfortable and seems well made. Does a nice job of blocking the sun and keeping me cool in the sun. Had I not purchased the 2013 model (Hydro Shirt Long Sleeve Men's Regular, X-Large, Dark Citron), I would probably have given this 5 starts.
The Hydro Shirt (2013) and the Eclipse Tech Tee (2014) were both made in Jordan and are very similar, so I'm assuming they have the same manufacturer. However, the Eclipse has extra seams on the sleeves and body that the Hydro does not, making it less comfortable. The seams are there because of contrasting color panels installed on the Hydro Shirt that the Eclipse Tech Tee did not have. To me this is a change where styling was allowed to trump function. Personally, I think of these shirts as being more about function than style. So, I was quite happy with the single solid color and more comfortable sleeves and torso.
Additionally, the material in the Hydro Shirt is slightly smoother, more substantial, has a nicer hand, and, like I mentioned previously, is more comfortable than that in the Eclipse Tech Tee. The Eclipse Tech Tee is still very comfortable, again, just not as nice as its predecessor.
