Based on the picture, I thought this jacket was going to be super unflattering but the jacket fits a lot better than I thought it would! It was really static-y when I first got it but that went away after a week. Good jacket!

Surprisingly warm for how light it is. The hood has a natural shape and stays on. I got the white, for spring.

i needed a light weight jacket that looks nice and holds up to the ever-changing upstate NY springtime weather. This jacket is perfect. It is well made, has pockets for chilled hands, blocks wind and rain, and provides sufficient warmth for early spring days. I would not wear this coat for below zero temperatures. It is very compact for traveling, and I can take it off and put it into my (large) purse if the day warms up. I purchased the color white. It has a dark gray lining which shows through the white giving it a gray hue. I rather like the look, but if you want a very clean white, you might not be happy. I purchased the hooded style and am happy for that decision.

This is a great jacket for blustery spring days here in the Mid-Atlantic. Great color, lightweight, fit is great, true to size. Petite Medium, and I'm 5'3" 135 lbs. No bulking where arms meet the body like the ultralight 850 sweater, which I had ordered first, but sent back. It can only take a thin sweater underneath, so I couldn't see wearing it in less than 40 degrees, even though the description says it's a year around jacket. Really just what I was looking for. It will also be a great travel jacket as well.

Love the jacket! I'm very picky and don't usually spend this much on clothing, but this seemed worth it. And it is. Great for this time of year, especially in Indiana where Spring seems to be heralded like a roller coaster - 19 one day, 50 the next, down to 30, up to 45, down to 20... you get the idea.

Rated 5 out of 5 by 549763 I love this jacket. Perfect fit and comfortable.
Not really having a need for a heavy coat this jacket is perfect for those occasional cold fronts that hit our area. Wind and rain resistant and a hood that really fits. I can't get over how light weight it is and provides such warmth.

just the right fit. I'm 5'2 160 lbs and ordered a petite large.
Warm enough for Vancouver in March on a mild day, maybe around 8 C. sleeves perfect length. I would say good for spring and fall.

This jacket is very light, but perfect for all of the ups and downs of winter temperatures in TX. I wear it to walk the dogs. The Hood is great. If it rains, the elastic around the Hood holds it tight and elastic around the bottom keeps it snug.
It runs a little on the larger side, so I have plenty of room to layer underneath when I hit colder temperatures in it.

I was looking for a jacket that i could layer under a shell in the winter . I also wanted a jacket that i could wear by itself in the warmer weather. This jacket is everything that i was looking for and
more. I love the fact that on bike rides and hikes that i can roll this jacket up and put it in a stuff sack.
I am 5'2" 120lbs. I ususally wear a size 6 clothing. The extra small fits perfectly with room also for a light layer underneath. The jacket is long enough. I love the longer sleeves.
I wish the jackets were not so pricey but i feel that it will be a good value in the long run as llbean clothes last a long time. If you buy this jacket i guarantee you will be happy with it.Carol

Rated 4 out of 5 Nice, but not warm to -10 degrees as described
The blue pine is a pretty color, the coat is very cute, but I don't think it keeps you warm in below 20's temps; let alone a windy day in the single digits. This jacket is good for 30's temps and higher. I'm returning the jacket as I wanted a warm lightweight jacket for the frigid Northeast winters we've been having lately.
