I purchased this coat in September of 2015 and have found it to be more versatile than I expected. I love the coat. I am finding that I wear it in the winter when there is wet snow and the temperature is 25 degrees or higher. I also wear it more frequently than my down coats/jackets when I'm shopping in the winter months because it isn't so hot when I'm in the store. As far as the fit, I like that it has a little shape to it compared to my down coats. I'd say it fits a little slimmer than my usual size S from LLBean but not to the point where it's too tight. Very nice coat. I have no complaints at all.

Nice raincoat. Good for spring and fall. Fits true to size with enough room for a sweater underneath.

Rated 3 out of 5 by mainefan2005 lovely but not generous in size or insulation
Beautiful cut. This coat wasn't as heavily insulated as i had expected. It was also too small and i bought an PXL.
I returned the coat because of size and insulation level.
Wish that the sizing for petties was the same as Misses but shorter.

Rated 5 out of 5 by YazooGirl Excellent Fit and Style
With all the negative comments about the sizing and quality I hesitated to buy this coat. But after looking around a lot of web sites the LLBean raincoat looked like my best option for a waterproof plus size raincoat with a little A line in the back. I usually wear a 1x to have a little extra room for a heavy sweater. I looked at the sizing chart and based on my measurements I stuck with the 1x. The raincoat fit exactly to the dimensions in the sizing chart for a 1x. I wondered whether I would get a lighter or darker blue - the unlined coat online looked lighter. I bought the lined coat and it is a beautiful dark navy blue. The lining looks light weight. I don't expect it will be warm in freezing weather. But I plan to wear it for rainy days 40-65 degrees and it looks fine for that. The quality of the coat I received looks very good. I am pleased with my purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jeanniespicks I love this raincoat
I Just received this raincoat. I am very pleased with the fit, material and how light weight the coat is. I got the PM, I am 5'3" and a 140 lbs. It is a tiny bit roomy but If I had a blazer on underneath it would be perfect. I am keeping it. I travel a lot and need something that packs well..This is perfect. I am very please with this coat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Whittington Great raincoat
Thank you, LLBean, for FINALLY having my size (2P)!!!!!
The raincoat fits NICELY (at LAST -- one for ME!!). It also seems to be quite waterproof (although I haven't had it out in any real gulley washers yet...) and a nice length, offering more coverage for walking and biking. The lining could stand to be a bit warmer for serious chill (eg <60 deg F)-- but ok for cool summer evenings. The coat makes me smile and gets lots of compliments.

Rated 1 out of 5 New is not always improved
I own LLBean H2Off coats with removable liners and removable hoods that are now quite old. Because they have served me well in many weather conditions/climate, and varied situations from moderate hiking to attending the theater, I decided to buy the new version in preparation for an upcoming trip. Big mistake. Although usually I am an LLBean medium-size, this coat runs much smaller than expected. Despite my quite average build I could barely get the coat zipped. Overall the cut and fit are very narrow/straight aside from the peculiar lower-back vent, yet the sleeves are too long. A drawstring cinch and band across the back waist make matters worse. Such a close fitting, defined placement of the waist means the coat must sit quite precisely on the body to be comfortable. Wish it weren't so, but this coat is going back ASAP.

Rated 3 out of 5 by bschenen Well some really great features...
I love the H2Off material... It's sleek, doesn't wrinkle and even looks elegant. I have had the long version of this coat with a wool liner for quite a number of years and really love it... so I chose to waterproof it a couple of years ago rather than get a new one, as I did not like the styling of the newer long trench at the time. I really like the primaloft lining of this raincoat and it's easy zip in and out ..but the styling just doesn't work for me... the correct size is just too bulky on top and the drawstring even when left loose is an unflattering horizontal where the coat pulls in and is just too tight... so it's really unflattering, Odd cut. Not sure what the deal is with that vertical pleat in back. Looks odd to me. If it started at the shoulders, that would make more sense. As it is it's curiously like a bustle. Wish this coat had the nice clean A-line design of the Trail Model raincoat. With all the great features of this one. Then it would be perfect. In the meantime, this goes back and I'll wait to see if Bean puts this through another style change and we can get along once again. Please, Bean.

Rated 4 out of 5 by 30yearsofBean very nice coat, but not as warm as advertised
I really like the coat but there is no way this coat would be warm enough to wear in -15 degree weather. I would like to see a warmer lining. I had the previous version of this coat and it was substantially heavier and warmer. But this coat looks nice and fits well (5'4", 130 and the petite small fits perfectly).

Rated 2 out of 5 by Kwick Keeps me dry, BUT...
Bought this item after looking everywhere for a WaterProof coat that is insulated and also long enough to Not let water drain onto my thighs like most Parkas do.
It does keep me dry but the liner Barely keeps me warm at 40 degrees F. The material feels Thin & Cheap (chintzy). I usually wear Medium in L.L.Bean clothing, but the Med. in this item was Too Tight in the hips and "Puffed Out" in the front giving me a Bigger Belly Look. I went up to a Large, but still it will only allow for a very thin sweater underneath. Last of all, Bad Pocket Design. There are No inside pockets at all. On the outside only 2 hip-level pockets and they have no zippers or proper flaps to keep out water.
