Rated 3 out of 5 by PenguinBec What's up with the pockets??
I have to grade these jeans down because of the front pocket length.
The jeans are extremely comfortable. The fit is great. BUT the front pockets are so shallow I'm afraid I'm going to lose something. I am going to have to add some length to them before they will be truly functional.
I am a person who carries most of my stuff, (wallet, keys, money) in my pockets and I don't understand why jeans would be built with useless front pockets.
If they had real pockets I'd give them 5 stars.

Rated 4 out of 5 by dg23 add size 2 and small-waist version please
Great soft lightweight denim with slight stretch to it. Colors are nice; I especially like the vintage wash.
I tried a 4 Reg Straight-Leg Stonewashed (sale item TL275428, maybe last year's model?). The proportions (waist-hip-legs) were right, it was just one size too big. It wasn't baggy, as other comments noted; seems like if I had the correct size, it would be a slightly loose fit and great summer jeans. I'm 5'1" 120 lb, pear-shaped (27" waist, 36" hip). If size 2 was available, I would buy it!
I also tried a 4 Reg Bootcut Vintage Wash (regular price item TA292218). The fit is totally different. The size 4 fits perfectly in the hips/butt/legs. But the waist is too big and gaps open in the back. A "curvy" version for smaller waist, bigger hips body-type would be fantastic.
Also, the 'favorite fit' rise is still too high: 1/2" below my belly button. How about a rise that sits 1.5" below the belly button?
It would really be great if the torso of pants came in petite, reg and tall, and you could choose the inseam (pet, reg, med, or tall).

Rated 3 out of 5 by shoppingpro dissapointed with the length
no idea if my jeans were mislabeled but I ordered M/T and they are the length of medium length. I'm 5'5" and have a long inseam. Nice lightweight material because winter is OVER! Will keep them though

Rated 4 out of 5 by Albatross333 Comfortable Jeans
These are my favorite jeans right now. They are not perfect. I find them extremely comfortable due to the low rise, yet perfect fitting waist. However, the pockets ARE shallow, the thighs ARE baggy (and I have big thighs), they shrink in length pretty bad (am ordering a longer inseam next time), and would be perfect if the above were fixed AND they had a gusseted crotch. I've gotten rather sick of that bulky cross in my crotch and had been wearing gusseted jeans for a few years before deciding to try these. They don't look "sexy" per se, due to the baggy thighs. But they are more comfortable than tighter pants which would force that crotch cross right in there. These are very comfortable decent looking jeans.

Nice jeans and the waist/hip fit was good on me, but just too baggy in the thighs. I sent them back.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Weir One reason I am afraid to buy online
The jeans fit well when I found the right size. The Jeans are well washed so that the material is not as stiff as a new jeans usually are. My big disappointment is that the front pockets are not full depth. I would gladly trade the "change pocket" (which I never use) for a deeper pocket which will hold my cell phone when I sit down. My next pair of jeans will be purchased at a retail store unless I can be guaranteed this feature.

Rated 3 out of 5 by ShirtShoppingWoman 1912 jeans - fit is perfect, fabric is flimsy
Apparently there are 2 different types of 1912 straight leg jeans; I got these on sale, but see the other has the same name but at regular price. I don't know what the difference is, but I would gladly pay the full price for a nicer fabric. These are just very thin and seem more like denim 'slacks' than jeans. The fit and length is great so far (8 Petite after one washing), but in all other LLBean jeans except for the 100% cotton Double L style, the stretch material in the fabric always leaves an unattractive puckered line across both legs from the bottom of the zippers across to the side seams. It is not because they are too small; they all fit really well. I hope these do not do that. I have always loved LLBean but find the quality is decreasing in most everything I purchase anymore. So disappointing because they have always been so wonderful otherwise.

Rated 5 out of 5 by AnnefromCanada My new 'go-to' jeans
These are a bit different from what I normally wear. I usually wear a skinny jean. (I'm 144 and 5'9" and purchased size 8, which fits me perfectly). I loved the look of the heritage wash and there was just something about the more relaxed cut that had a vintage look that I liked. At the price I thought I'd take a chance and so glad I did. The legs are really wide, but the waist and hips are quite fitted, so these are not 'baggy jeans.' The denim in beautifully soft. These are going to look great cuffed in the summer.

Rated 3 out of 5 by MariaT Loose and short
They fit great in the morning, but by lunch are very loose at waist and hip. Tried to shrink 'em in the dryer, and you guessed it! Only the length shrank.
Oh well. Now I only wear them to hang around the house. Am looking forward to the new style of 1912s with slimmer styling.
