Rated 2 out of 5 by Babs1113 Sadly disappointed
Just purchased a week ago and tested immediately for three nights in the Adirondacks.
Tent diagrams shows outside height of tent to be that of a six foot person, yet height inside is stated at 64 inches, making a 5'8" person like me stoop over. Get rid of that six foot diagram as it is deceiving.
Cool damp first night found compensation in several areas inside the tent the next morning. Second night I found the mesh top with a very cool breeze, regretful, wishing the top had panels that zipped closed like the window and door. Eventually put towels over the mesh for the last night to keep out the breeze when the temp dipped to 41 degrees.
Footprint is going back as a grommet was not ever attached to the web corners. I will stick with a basic tarp that has worked nicely for the past 40 years of tenting.

Loved the easy set up , and the large hang over of the fly that one can peel back to see the sky through the lovely mesh roof!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Unclephoto Easy set up, plenty of room
We ordered the 4 man tent knowing that the ratings tend to be based on close proximity sleeping. For 2 senior campers there is loads of room for both sleeping bags and gear, even a blow up Queen mattress if desired. Setting up the tent is easy enough for one person but better for two. The fitted ground cloth is highly recommended to protect the tent floor from both rain and ground protrusions. Ventilation is excellent. This is a lightweight tent compared to our Bean's top of the line model that is twice as expensive but it is very satisfactory for all but full time campers and light weight is a plus for traveling and set up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by CapeCodder2 One happy tent
Easy to set up, well constructed, dry and stands up to wind well. Very happy with this tent, it is exactly what I was hoping it would be. Spent a week in it with two nights of rain and were very dry, two days of stiff breeze and no issues. We did add the basement.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Chazeecat Great "kid" tent!
We purchased this tent for my kids.. so when they have friends over, or invite a friend along camping we have extra space for them. It perfectly fits 1 queen and 1 twin air mattress, side by side. We easily fit 3 teenage girls in there over Memorial Day weekend :) It is easy to set up and takes up very little space when storing it. I love this tent, and I am sure we will get many years of use out of it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Sandy50 love this tent
This tent was bought as a replacement for an LL Bean tent that was 20 yrs old and had a lot of use. It was finally ruined by a bunch of 8 year olds playing in it all summer. We took this tent camping this past weekend and it rained ..hard. We were dry the whole time. Great job LL Bean.

Purchased this tent and broke it in at the Chickasaw National Recreation Area in Sulphur Oklahoma. I am 5'5'' and did not have to stoop when standing in the center of the tent. A Taller person will have to stoop a little. We put two cots in it and had plenty of room to move around in. 3 cots will be a tight fit. Loved the rain fly for it fits nice and snug and did not flap or come loose with the wind. I did not get the foot print but plan on ordering it for I felt an extra barrier was needed to protect the bottom of the tent. Our camp site was a bit rocky. Bag to store it in was extra roomy. The tents made by the lantern people are hard to get back in the bag. This one went in easily with room to spare. Recommend this tent

Rated 5 out of 5 by EastCoastCampFish Still crazy after all these years
I bought this tent, or its predecessor Adventure Dome, 18 years ago, in 1998. I feel compelled to write a review now because I just had it out for a Cub Scout camping trip overnight. After almost 20 years, this tent is still easy to set up, tight as a drum (we had about 5 hours of steady rain), easy to break down, and easy to clean. Still all original poles (although I've had to replace a few stakes along the way). For value, you just can't beat this tent.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Bobbie61 Roomy and dry
Used this tent, and it's footprint, camping last weekend. With two adults, a dog and gear we had plenty of room. The first night was cold and damp and in the morning there wasn't even a drop of water condensation on the inside of the tent. The second night it rained and was windy and again we were warm and dry. This tent is easy to assemble with two people. I highly recommend it. Thank you, LL Bean.
