Rated 5 out of 5 by alternakiddy Great buy, just in time!!
I got this in the sale section, Black, 1X womens, but I would have paid the full price for it.
I put it on today during a Nor'easter, and it does the job. I was ducking in and out of New Yorkers with their inside out umbrellas, I stayed pretty warm and dry. So glad I got it, and I can't wait to wear it some more!

Rated 5 out of 5 by BuffaloNYan Cozy, well constructed--love it!
Reviewers are correct--fleece lined sleeves catch on sweaters/sweatshirt sleeves. However, I sewed slippery lining into both sleeves and now have the perfect rainy-day dog-walking coat! Much easier on/off w/lined sleeves. Not a difficult project--it is a rather flat sleeve cap. Allow some ease for width/length as woven fabric is not stretchy like fleece.
This is a very well constructed coat and I like the cozy fleece lining. Medium fits easily over sweatshirt. Also fits over down vest or down jacket for extra warmth. I am short, so coat reaches to my knees. Just perfect for my use. May even pack it for travel abroad rather than risk losing my more expensive Goretex coat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by SandyfromCanada After reading alot of reviews on this jacket...
I have to say that I am extremely pleased with it. Yes, the fleece sleeves get caught up with a cotton long sleeved shirt. But it is not an issue when such a lightweight coat offers such fantastic comfort, warmth (-2 celsius in my part of Canada right now...) and best of all, is long enough to warm other areas :D

Rated 5 out of 5 by dancinintherain Looking forward to rain
I read all the reviews before purchasing this coat and although there were complaints about the fleece lined sleeves, the zipper and the crinkly sound of the material - I decided to get it and check it out for myself. The fleece lining is cozy and warm - I usually wear long sleeve tees so it's not a problem. The zipper is a bit persnickety but once you get the hang of it......it's a breeze and I like the material - overall - I can't wait for a cold, rainy day to wear it! Love the hood too.

Rated 4 out of 5 by newtonmom Nice jacket for a rainy cold day
This jacket is perfect for a cold rainy day. The fleece lining is warm and soft. The fleeced lined sleeves can be annoying but once the jacket is on, it feels very warm and cozy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Harborview Excellent Raincoat!!!
I love this rain jacket so much that I also purchased one for my mom and one for my sister! The design is exceptional. The fleece keeps you warm on cold rainy days and the hood is perfect. This jacket easily earned its five stars here in NMI!

Rated 2 out of 5 by Avalie Worst Zipper Ever
Every time I zip this coat up, it gets caught in the zipper. It won't zip up or down. I have been held captive in this coat several times. Too bad LL Bean has chosen to put these frustrating zippers in their coats. I like the products but won't buy again because the last several coats I have purchased has this type of zipper.

Rated 1 out of 5 by sfalls Horrible Coat
I am so disappointed in this coat. Tight in the shoulders and loose around the body. Sleeves are impossible when you have a long sleeve shirt on. Rolls the shirt sleeves halfway up your arms because the lining is so bulky. Wish I hadn't worn this coat because I would return it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by BeanShopperChicagoMom I Think I Am Going to Love This Jacket
I got this coat for rainy and 40 degree tball games and for dog walking. I never expected it to be flattering or stylish. It's not bad on that front. It has some shape, so I am pleasantly surprised with the fit. I don't think the fleece sleeves will be bothersome either. I am really happy the sleeves are lined with fleece. Indeed, I bought this to replace a rain jacket that had unlined sleeves. I just wore it in a downpour and stayed super dry and warm in 45 degrees.
One caveat - this jacket will not keep you warm in below freezing temps. Wear it when it's rainy, raw and damp in the 30s through 50s.

Rated 2 out of 5 by bschenen Great idea, but problems
This could be a GREAT raincoat... styling and cut are really nice. Fit too. But the impossible, constantly bunching lining ruins everything. Just not wearable. Which is a real shame as Bean's long H2Off coat with liner does not have any warmth in the sleeves so I was hoping this would work out. Bean, I hope you can redo this with that modification.. a lining that offers some warmth, especially in the sleeves, and doesn't cling to your clothing. And as long as you are taking care of the lining, how about making the raincoat itself out of a material that isn't so noisy and doesn't constantly crinkle? Something sleek like the original H2Off? But the idea... the concept.. GREAT!
