Rated 2 out of 5 by kendu Fit is much different than previous design
I ordered the same size as my previous pair which were the earlier design. This version of the shoe is much shorter and narrower in the toe. Also , my heal does nor stay in the shoe when I walk. So it's too tight in the toe box and too loose in the heel. I'm returning them, but unfortunately a larger size will not remedy the heel problem. I know everybody's feet are different, and these probably fit some people just fine, but the previous design fit me perfect and the redesign is useless for me.

Rated 1 out of 5 by llnorm Storm Chasers, Clog problem, Bad size.
I ordered size 10 shoe that I wear. I could not slide my foot in at all. I have always worn size 10 shoe without any problems. These clogs were to replace the size 10 LL Bean clogs that I have had for 10 plus years. This is not the first time that I had a problem This is the second time in a month. How can anyone order shoes when they must guess the size that might fit?

Rated 1 out of 5 by stormyclogger disappointed they changed the design
I had bought these for years for myself and for others. With the design change they made, they are no longer comfortable and even tried a larger size to see if that helped, but no. Disappointed they changed the design.

I bought these shoes for my husband to use outside because they were all weather shoes. He loved them when he first put them on and wants to wear them all the time. Great fit and good looks.

Glad to find these clogs. They will be great for trips to the barn in all kinds of weather.

Not really a clog, not really a boot. Back of shoe cuts across heel and is uncomfortable. Not a substitute for the Storm Chaser Slip-on that is currently unavailable.

I have returned these clogs. They're well made and I had high hopes for them, but I'd read some of the same warnings on the reviews of this and similar footwear products on this site.
Unfortunately, they slip unacceptably from the heel after every step. But ironically, they go ON with difficulty, too, because of a lip of extra material at the rear of the heel. So, you cannot simply 'step into' them. Quite frankly, I have wooden shoes from Holland and cheap plastic garden clogs that stay on my feet better. Too bad, but LLBean is good about the return.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Revrider Nice Shoe -- Poor Clog
Good fit, well made. Keeps the mud and wet out when I feed the animals in the morning, but I bought these to keep by the back door and slip on for such chores. I like clogs for this reason -- no delay, no tying. Bought these to replace a pair of Merrills that I wore out. Problem with these is that the heel is too high and tight to slip them on. Have to sit down and pull them over my heel. Might as well sit down and lace my boots.
Plan to return them. Happy that Bean has a satisfaction guaranty.

Rated 5 out of 5 by SnowMom68 Nice Clog.
Nice comfortable shoe. relatively easy slip on. I have to slip finger around the back to get heal in shoe. Once in they fit a little big. But no issue. Feel very stable although they are tall in the sole. They seem a little stiff, but not too stiff, I am sure they will soften up.
I definitely will buy again!

Rated 2 out of 5 by SaraAJ Foul weather clogs not practical
Sadly I had to return these. Well made and comfortable, but the low back makes them impractical for rain and snow. I have the women's storm chase shoe and couldn't be anymore pleased. Hope they restock the mens soon
