Rated 5 out of 5 by Pokeyclown Waxing Brazilian: Love in a Warm Climate
I LOVE these boots - they're snazzy, jazzy, and pizzazzy. And I like the patent leather patches fore and aft - makes them look spiffy and sassy, almost like spats (What'spat?). They have a jaunty. upbeat vibe that makes you feel like anything's possible. And I love the way they slip on and off easily and quickly.
I seldom heed the "dressy" caveat, so I like to wear them with my True Blue Jeans (TA 284078), and my "Poor Poet's Shirt" (TA284038), nicknamed thus to distinguish it amid all the other pima shirts. These boots also look great with a jumper, turtleneck and tights.
I was able to buy my usual size 6, place my metatar$al orthotics right onto the foot bed without removing anything, and walk comfortably. Of course, I have a secret: silk sock liners, which I use to break in all boots. No blisters, no abraded spots. Depending on the color of the boots' interior, I wear either black or cream. If you live in a cold climate, tights should work as well, but these boots are not for the big chill.
I've always loved LLB's Brazilian footwear for its style, comfort, and refusal to bow to vanity sizing. At a time when "true to size" has lost its meaning, LLB's Brazilian footwear is VERIFIED True To Size.

A zipper is definitely needed in these boots!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Beeperlulu So Soft and Comfy
I have serious difficulty finding shoes or boots that fit comfortably following side effects of back surgery. These boots are incredible -- other reviews described leather as soft as butter and it is true! Wore them a full day at work the day after they arrived! Just thrilled :)

Rated 3 out of 5 by FromBoston Not ideal for snow days
I liked the look, but found the treads to be woefully inadequate for snow days. Although not intended to be a real snow boot, I needed them to walk between Boston downtown locations. They skidded. Also, boot is difficult to put on because I have a high instep. Takes a real tug. Next time, I would buy a boot with a zipper and pay the additional cost.

These are attractive and comfortable booties. They are very flat -- I wish they had a little heel or wedge to give a little lift.

Rated 2 out of 5 by therarereviewer Not Leather--Description Ambiguous
The boots are not leather, although the insert that comes with the shipment talks about care for one's leather purchase. The advertisement suggests they are leather, talking about "leather-lined". However, the actual composition of the uppers is not spelled out. The cold penetrates easily. Expensive for a non-leather boot with such features.

Rated 3 out of 5 by likecomfyfeet not comfort mocs
I wear the comfort mocs almost everyday to work, and thought I would change it up and get a pair of nicer boots. Ordered the same size in these boots. They are not as comfortable. The length is a bit long, but with the width I would not go shorter. The toe box is very snug compared to the comfort mocs. The leather is soft enough that they are still comfortable, but the profile of my bunions are quite visible due to the width, the bunions are camoflauged in the comfort mocs. My biggest complaint would be that it is NOT a non-marking sole. I can't actually wear these to work because that. These are a nice casual boot for me, but not an everyday one.

Rated 1 out of 5 by lanonnade ugly boots
These are not worthy of LL Bean. I thought they were leather, but they are not. They look awful on and are uncomfortable. About the only positive thing I can say is that they are true to size.
