Rated 5 out of 5 by JOYTS Great Quality
Purchased the dress chino's for my husband. We've found that all LL Bean clothing is highly consistent in sizing.
The chino's have a wonderful hand to the cotton fabric and they look more like casual dress pants.
The grey color is a nice grey, not too dark or too light.
The quality is second to none at LL Bean and we will continue to shop at the site. Every single thing we've purchased has fit, washed well and holds up for a very long time. Hard to find quality like this anymore these days.

Rated 4 out of 5 by JohnDBeanCustomer Great pants -- hoping for better durability
The Standard fit does well for me... these trousers are really great in style and details
But....I bought my pair only a year ago and the hem is wearing out on the front pockets. frayed and discolored. the on-seam detail (as opposed to an angled pocket opening) probably accelerates the wear since reaching in the pocket generates more abrasion.
I was replacing a similar pair of Bean dress chinos in a 60/40 blend (or something similar to that), which were super durable and lasted probably 6 or 8 years. Could you consider offering these in a blend in addition to the 100% cotton?

Rated 3 out of 5 by Slides2015 Nice chinos, but way too long
I'm used to the Dockers D2 Straight Fit inseam length where a 29" inseam fits me well.
I ordered a 28.5" inseam length and the pants were at least 2 inches too long. Good thing they offer customization online. Great for short people, but the inseam sizes on these pants are way too long.

These pants look good and fit well. However, two things didn't hold up. Within about 18 months, the belt loops in the back (where they come into contact with my office chair) had worn noticeably and to a different colour--none of my other less expensive pants have done this. Second, one of the hems in the pant cuffs had fallen out and had to be redone.

These pants are the same high quality as everything I've purchased from LLB over the past years. Excellent fabric and craftsmanship. Fast order processing. No extra charge freight.
I'm a customer for life.

I ordered two pair of Dress Chinos, the new Standard Fit and the Classic Fit to see which fit me the way I like to wear my pants. The new Standard fit was perfect as I prefer a short rise. I returned the Classic fit with no problems and ordered two more pair of the Standard Fit. They feel great, resist wrinkles wash beautifully and require little or no ironing. You will only need to iron if you prefer a tighter crease in the pant leg. If you hang these pants by the legs at night you can easily wear these pants several days.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Sozzie Faulty hook at waist
Hook at waist not well seated in waistband. Ordered 3 pants, same in both that have arrived so far. Can't get at it to reinforce without remaking waistband. Faulty construction unusual in LLBean product.

Almost completely satisfied. I've purchased these several times over the years and wear them until they die. Including this time, I've bought three colors--stone, khaki and dark khaki (or whatever it's named at any given time). The dark khaki usually is an attractive taupe-like color. Not this time; it has a distinct orange tint! Bad color choice by whoever at LLBean makes these decisions. I sent them back.

Rated 4 out of 5 by StuNY99 An old reliable, but not perfect
I keep buying these pants, both in black and stone, because of their fit and how they retain their neat appearance due to the crease and general resistance to wrinkles. However, I've found the black ones (the two replacement pair I ordered this time) to fade a bit too soon in the wash, and the hems at the bottom of the legs to fray a bit too soon as well.
