Rated 5 out of 5 by Gemma6 excellent pants and fit
I am going to enjoy wearing these. The corduroy is soft and the fit is excellent. All I had to do is shorten them an inch or so, because I am petite and these are regular. It is a good buy for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by dirtworshipper I love these pants
I am petite and although I had to have them hemmed, I love the fit, the feel, the color and the comfort. I would buy more if there were more colors to choose from. They are taking the place of my jeans as they have a more dressy look to them and are much more comfortable. Thank you LLBean

Rated 5 out of 5 by piglet3 very soft and comfortable
These pants are so soft and comfortable; I really like them. However they do run small, so I had to return for the next size up. Also, the olive gray color is a pretty, earthy color.

Rated 4 out of 5 by krazy4poodles What they said
I'm so glad I read the reviews before ordering! I feel pretty much the same as what others reported. I wanted these pants for my everyday running around in cold weather. I got the olive green color and I like it. The length is perfect for my 5' 4" height. I washed these and dried in hot dryer before wearing and I don't feel they shrunk.
Love that they sit at my waist. I'm 60 yrs old and not crazy about the low rise styles.
Here's the important thing to know: like others have said, order the next size up! I'm a solid size 8, but I ordered the 10. It fits perfectly. It killed me to do that, no one wants to be a size larger than they really are, but I know they would have been skin tight had I gotten my regular size. Also, these are fine wale corduroy and lightweight. Fine with me, I'll be wearing these way into April and maybe May. They are soft and comfortable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by JET1973 Nice, Lightweight Pant
I am 5"2 with a more athletic build. I have very muscular legs. I wanted a pair of lightweight, loose fitting pants for my trip to Europe this summer. I usually wear an 8 or 10. I bought these in a 12 and they are perfect - loose but not crazy baggy. Being 5"2 LL Bean petite is usually too short for me, the regular is usually a little long. Since the reviews said these run a little short I was interested. They are perfect. I am ordering the other color right now.

Rated 3 out of 5 by NurseHiker Interesting pants but nice for the price
I usually wear a size 6 or 8. Several reviewers mentioned that these run small, so I ordered both to see which one fit me. The 6 fit perfectly in the body, but were JUST long enough (I like mine a little longer). The 8 was loose in the body, but better in length. I washed the 6 just to see if they would shrink because if they shrank at all they would not work. They did not shrink one bit, so I decided to keep the 6 as the 8 really would not fit in the body without shrinking. The 6 waist fits perfectly. I really can't figure out the purpose of the tie - it just sticks out when wearing a shirt not tucked in. I promptly cut the ties off,
The corduroy is almost non existent. It is so fine and thin that if someone didn't tell you they were corduroy, you would never know. The cargo pockets lay down nicely and the pants look slim and trim. They are not really warm, but could easily be worn year round if you are in inside dweller in the winter. They are still pretty nice pants for the price.

Rated 4 out of 5 by MarinaMama Front pockets don't lie flat for me
I LOVE the buttery-soft fine-wale cord, the olive gray color, all the functional pockets (especially the subtly gusseted cargo pockets with snap closure, perfect for my iPhone) and the price on the 2-a-day markdown, but they just didn't fit me right. The waist was perfect, the hips too big (which I would have lived with), but the front pockets flared open in an unattractive way when I moved. Based on previous reviews, I ordered up to size 10 from my usual 8. I think an 8 would be too tight in the waist but better in the hips. I took off these pants to send back and put on my size 8 slim-leg cargo pants instead, which fit me better.

Rated 1 out of 5 by lovestoshop4 yikes! this is horrible
I just don't know where to start , the cut is horrible , the fabric is so thin is a joke to call it corduroy , they are super short and just plain horrible , I am very upset I have to pay so much to return them , they are very deceiving . even the color is terrible , I got the olive gray but if that is olive I am the queen of Egipt! ( I am not)

Rated 5 out of 5 by ArtCatNightOwl Great pants.
Love these pants, especially in the soft green color. Looks great with ivory fitness fleece top and scarf. I do like the lighter weight fabric - makes it easier to tuck into boots without so much bulk. I did order one size up from my normal size based on other reviews and they fit great.

Rated 3 out of 5 by NorthernGardener A lot of alterations
I bought these pants on the daily markdown for $14.99 to wear in the garden this Spring. So far, I have removed the back pockets, replaced the large bulky button at the waist and shortened the legs by 1.5 inches. Nevertheless, the pants fit well and should be comfortable in the garden. I would never pay the original price for these pants -- $14.99 is all they are worth. The fabric is very thin and the corduroy wale is almost non existent.
