Rated 5 out of 5 by PersonalStyle Why I own 5 pair !!!
They dress up well for church on cold days and I look polished.
They cover up 44 inch thighs very well with a lining and the weight of the fabric. (Who wants their cellulite showing?) I am well past my skinny jean days.
They wash and dry like a dream (ok I had to hem the lining when the cotton shrunk a bit but it was well worth the effort)
Much as I love wool, I cannot afford all those dry cleaning bills.

I washed these pants and hung them to dry before wearing them. They shrunk less than half an inch in length and not at all in the waist and hips. To my delight, they did not require any ironing! They are extremely comfortable and my husband says that they look very smart. I ordered the dark charcoal herringbone pants and wore them with a LL Bean short sleeve black pima v-neck. Perfect outfit for a casual cocktail hour at a restaurant with friends. I'm 5'5" and 145 lbs. and the size 14 fit perfectly. I'm 66 years old, going on 49!

I ordered these because haven't seen hounds tooth pants in years. Love the soft, warm material and the Grey pattern. The waist doesn't adjust like others I have gotten so runs a little loose in waist.

Rated 1 out of 5 by shopny Very disappointed
Before wearing, I washed these pants on a gentle cycle in cold water and hung them to dry. They shrank almost 3/4"! Being tall I cannot wear pants with inseams less than 32". The lining did not shrink and therefore bunched. I am really disappointed and will be returning them,

I've had three of these pants in two colors for a few years.
I wash them on gentle cycle and hung them to dry. The pants shrink a little in length and the lining doesn't. So, the lining hangs down anywhere from 1/8" to a full inch, depending on how much I pull on the pant leg to stretch them after they come out of the washer.
I didn't return them, but I wish I had.

Rated 1 out of 5 by bigorangefan Extremely disappointed in fit and quality
After waiting through several shipping delays and receiving these pants as a Christmas gift I couldn't wait to wear them. Before trying them on I noticed the plaids were extremely mismatched. This is so unusual for a quality plaid pant that I have expect from LL Bean. After wearing them one time and being miserable with the fit, I am returning them for a refund. I am 5"3" but the rise is too high; I am not sure who could wear these pants. Next time I will rethink waiting for a pair of pants that are backordered for so long. Overall, these pants are terrible although I like the colors and style.

I just love these pants! The material is very soft and warm, and the cut is comfortable. The legs are somewhat wide and fit nicely over snow boots. The only problem is the lining! After washing as directed, the lining hangs down about 3/4 inch below the pants hem, and it is bunched up inside the leg, too wide. I can't believe LLBean didn't test for this beforehand! It's a treat to find reasonably priced, lined pants these days, but this is a definite manufacturing flaw.

These pants saved me repeatedly through 3.5 wet, cold and muddy weeks in Ireland this Christmas. The fact that they are true to size after a washing (hang dry) is a major plus. They were also nice and warm in some pretty chilly temperatures. I had a limited wardrobe for this long vacation and my two pair of Weekend pants really saw me through.

These are great way to gear up for the cold winter. They feel warm and are lined. I haven't tried washing them but the quality looks good like it will hold up.

Rated 3 out of 5 by JrHiTeacher Love, but too big
Love these pants but they have to go back. Size 4 (unfortunately the smallest size) is about an inch too big in the waist and about 4 inches too large in the hips.
PLEASE make clothes for us smaller people.
