This fabric is very lightweight, and not the least bit bulky, has a nice soft feel. The corduroy is a very soft light fine wale as well. I find the fit to work well for me. I am tall and long-waisted (5'8"), so I usually stick with Beans' "tunic" length, as I find many things too short. I NeVeR put my Beans knit tops in the dryer, as any shrinkage makes the difference between wearable-alone and not-wearable-without-another-layer-to-help-hide-my-tummy. I find that this top is flattering, not too clingy, washes well (no twisting side seams), and has just enough detail to be interesting and not too plain worn alone. The workmanship is quality (no seams coming undone, or loose threads.
I bought the blue which goes well with jeans or khakis and complements my fair coloring. Will consider another color.
I would have given it 5 stars, but I reserve that rating for items that are PeRfEcT for me. This one just isn't quite there, as I would like another inch or two in length in all of Beans' tops so I could tumble dry them when it is more convenient to do so.

I ordered the Blue shirt and it fit pretty well. Not too tight or too loose. It's a thin cotton/poly material that can be packed easily without worrying about excessive wrinkles. It's fast becoming one of my "Go-To" shirts. I plan to take it on my trip to Italy later this year. I liked it so well I ordered another in Coral.

The fit is boxy in the body - not what I would call slightly fitted. It is as wide at the waist as the hips. There are no roll tabs. There are elbow patches. The patches and neck trim are barely perceptible as corduroy - so not sure why bother with this detail. I am 142# / 5'8". I ordered the medium. fits comfortably in the shoulder. The wrists are loose (don't seem like they will stay pushed up). I was looking for a slimmer fit to wear under LLBean Ivory Cardigan. This feels to loose.
