I bought the Pacific Blue a few weeks ago when it was a 2-A-Day special. In fact I bought one for my daughter too.
So light weight that it's hard to believe it's warm but it is. I am 5'8" 155 lbs. and the medium fits perfectly with a bit of room to spare. I like the option of a hood especially on snowy days and it is not too big and floppy like some are. My only suggestion would be to make the pockets a bit deeper but there are inside pockets as well.

I live in the deep south and usually don't need anything heavy so this is perfect. It's not for very cold weather, which I'd define as anything below 65 degree. (Like I said, I'm from the deep south.)
But it's adorable. I love the blue color, the hood fits nicely, the closures work great. It is not my absolute favorite jacket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by FCSMasterGardener A feminine and less puffy down jacket
A down jacket with a twist: less puffy, curved waist with 3 toggles!
I'm 5' 3.5", 118 pounds, size petite small fits me fine. I like the Pacific Blue color very much, it is prettier and brighter with my naked eye, than seeing it on flyer and computer screen, although the side-to-side comparison is as close as one can get from different materials. I've found LLBeans products generally are true to colors shown.
Sleeve length is fine. I'd love to have the body length to be one inch longer.
But I'm aware that's my own issue: between a petite and regular,? I like the hood with adjustable elastic cord; it's not so roomy that your sight is hindered while walking.
You cannot go wrong with this jacket if: you're tired of the puffy look, can get by with a little less warmth, in exchange for a little more stylish look.
It is light as a feather, comfortable, and warm in 30's.
I can definitely recommend this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Camsmom Stylish, lightweight down jacket
The Micropuff down jacket is a very lightweight down jacket that is made of DownTek, a supposedly water repellent type of down, meaning the down clusters will loft up even when wet. I live in NY and we are in the middle of rainy and snowy weather in the 20-35 degree Fahrenheit range. I didn't think such a lightweight down jacket would work right now but surprisingly I've been warm and dry. I do wear a medium weight sweater and usually a flannel shirt layered underneath. With most down jackets I get overheated when coming from outdoors and going indoors and end up sweating and feeling chilled from the extreme change in temperatures. With this Micropuff down jacket, I felt comfortable both in and outdoors and didn't experience any radical change with my body temperature. I chose the medium petite for my 5'3", 38B-30-37 measurements and the jacket fit very well on me. The sleeves hit slightly below my wrist and the bottom of the jacket covered below my hip. I could lift my arms over my head without any issue. The top of the zipper hit slightly below the bottom of my neck, so if you're looking for something that zips up to the chin, this style won't work for you. The two-way zipper was smooth to zipper, without any snags. I chose the gunmetal grey, which is a muted dark slate grey (not shimmery) that has a mixture of deep blues, greys and black in it. I thought the color was very stylish and reminded me of the ocean at night. The toggle buttons are easy to undo and button again. I didn't get a spare button with this jacket (usually a spare is included) but I think the toggle buttons should be durable. There are two side pockets on the outside and one vertical pocket on the left-hand inside of the jacket. All pocket are open and do not have zippers or velcro. I experienced some small pieces of down popping out but not a large quantity. The quilted way the jacket is sewn helps keep the down in place and controls the shedding. The hood is deep and adjustable and covers up to the front of my forehead. I don't like hoods that squash my hairdo so this was a huge plus that the hood rested comfortably on my head. I thought this was a functional and fashionable jacket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by buckscountymama Love this jacket
I wanted this jacket last year but didn't get around to buying it. I just got it a few weeks ago and have worn it non stop since. I hate driving with a coat on and usually wear a down vest. The problem with that is when you do need to get out of the car, your arms get cold. This jacket is so lightweight, that it's comfortable when driving. I love that the sleeves are nice and long and the jacket is not tight across the chest or back when driving. I chose the gunmetal grey and think it's a beautiful color. It's a dark grey with some blue in it. For reference I am a size 14 and very busty. I purchased a size large and it fits perfect with a light to medium weight sweater underneath. It's not a jacket to wear when it's really cold out and if you will be outdoors for an extended period of time. I've worn in in 30 degree weather so far, going in and out of the car and it's great. I don't find that it sheds very much. Just the normal amount of feathers you would get with down.

If this coat didnt shead feathers constantly I would adore it. I love everything about the jacket but every single time I wear it, I am covered in the down

Rated 2 out of 5 by CountryGalLovesLLBean Cute Jacket, Not For Me
Just not warm or rugged enough for my lifestyle. Fit was good with medium weight sweater. I am 5'4" about 150 lbs and the Medium was very comfortable. If you are looking for a cute lightweight jacket to run from house to car to stores, I could recommend this, but I need more.

I live in North West Indiana on a lake and temps last year were as low as 18 below. I wouldn't go on a hike in these temps, but for running to the store etc this jacket is great. When they say ultra light they mean it (maybe 6 or 8 oz.). I wore it all last winter and with a scarf and gloves I was totally warm. The hood replaces a hat for running in and out. I really LIKE this jacket. I am 5' 1" and carry my 150 pounds in the tummy and bust. I bought a petite L and it still leaves room for a sweater without being tight in the bust when zipped. At first I thought " why didn't they use real leather for the toggle closures", then I had an ah ha moment, they wouldn't hold up to the many washes I'm sure this jacket will go through. The arm length is perfect too. Just ordered another one in blue. Can't say enough.

Rated 5 out of 5 by RinaGina Comfortable, warm, and flattering (but runs large)
As soon as I put this on, I felt like it was one of the most lightweight, comfortable winter jackets I had ever worn! The only issue is that you definitely need to order a size down. I never wear anything below a medium, and the small fits me with enough room for a warm sweater beneath. Even being a small, the sleeves are comfortably long. I used to find LLBean sleeves to be too short for me, even in a medium! Sometimes I'd end up ordering a large (in which I would be swimming in the torso) just to avoid the skimpy sleeves making my arms look like dangling monkey arms! Fortunately, LLBean seems to have changed their cut. But, truly, this is a lovely, stylish jacket, with a flattering, girlish fit to the waist area and a comfortable feel overall. I highly recommend it. Just order a size down.

Rated 1 out of 5 by toto17 not up to standard
upon opening the package I found a lightweight jacket with almost no down in the layers. the closures were cheap and the jacket was of inferior quality. I was looking for a sturdy winter jacket for everyday use and this did not fit the bill.
