Rated 4 out of 5 by Sylvanian Not quite wrinkle-free
This is a nice shirt, I have two of them. Good looking, nice fit. The problem is that I bought these motivated by wrinkle-free promise, but they are not really wrinkle-free despite all care in washing and drying. Without ironing it doesn't look really sharp - good enough to wear for an informal party with jeans, not good at all for office. So far, the only LLBean shirt (among 4 models I tried) that stands up to the promise of wrinkle free is mini-tartan - that one I highly recommend. But it has different kind of fabric.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Wellingtonian Slightly fitted and available in tall - Wonderful
Absolutely love these shirts. The slightly fitted body together with the tall fit giving a perfect arm length is just great. Hard to find!
I've been hoping to get some of the other colors BUT the range available seems to be shrinking. The dark cherry sold out in no time and never came back.
I do hope LL Bean get a fresh stock of the same colors again. If this is the end of the line they'll be missed by us all!

Rated 5 out of 5 by mmc433 Great shirt if you can get it
This is a shirt to build your wardrobe around. Comfortable, looks great, easy to care for, durable. The only problem is availability. The company got smart this year and offered several great new colors (black forest green, black cherry, a great dark blue, etc). But you cannot get them. They appeared and seemed to disappear overnight. Please make more available and do it soon! Also, please make all these colors available in short sleeve form for summer!

I bought these shirts for work, but they look fabulous and so I gave them to him before the holiday and he loves them and wanted more, so I am buying different colors.
They wash great and look even new after washing with no ironing either.
He loves the length of the shirts, that they stay tucked in.

They really mean it at LLBean when they say their products are guaranteed. A flaw in the fabric of a very similar shirt caused the sleeve to split all the way up. Even though the shirt had been worn many times, and I had tailored it, LLBean graciously replaced it with this one. My husband was impressed with the replacement. Good fabric weight, truly wrinkle free, nice saturated rustic red colour, subtle small check pattern. At a slim 6'4", 185 lbs, he needs the Tall trim fit, XL. As usual, I still need to add two darts to tailor the fit even more but this is the closest he ever gets to finding a shirt that fits right out of the package.

I love the trim fit styles carried by LL Bean. Most recent purchase is this shirt. I wear to work and also out to dinner with friends. Got several compliments. Best feature is that it doesn't bunch up at the waist like regular shirts.

You can find other comments that say the same but I just want to re-iterate. Don't expect an actual trim fit. I got a L and estimate it would fit a 40 inch waist and have the extra material for a belly.
If you're an athletic build, you'll look ridiculous.
I liked the material and style so was really disappointed in the fit.

I really like this shirt. Very comfortable and looks crisp. Doesn't have to be ironed to look good. I had this shirt for 6 months and the left elbow ripped. A lot of my other shirts do the same thing. The shirt is very light and comfortable. It was my favorite shirt until the elbow got a tear/rip worn in it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Tofans Love These Mini-Check Shirts
These are fabulous shirts. They hold up really well while travelling, staying wrinkle-free and comfortable. The fabric is also a bit heavier which I like a lot. Relative to the excellent quality they're a very good value.
