A little pricy for the type of shoe. Needed a 1/2 size larger then my regular size. Appear to be well made and comfortable. I have only wore them a couple of weeks, time will tell how they will hold up.

These shoes run small to size. I wear a size 10.5 normally; had to get a size 11 for the second time on Merrill shoes. I have only had them a week, but so far, so good. I have had severe plantar facia problems and this shoe was recommended, so I hope it helps.

first pair of Merrells the inside "sock" does not stay in the shoe any longer so I have to tuck it back in everytime i take the shoe off. I could never get the laces to stay tied and broke the plastic tips. fit was snug at the toes

Rated 5 out of 5 These feel great!
These Merrell Moab Ventilators feel great. Lots of good support so that hiking over rocks I feel stable and over gravel feels imperceptible. I have to buy men's sizes since I'm a tall female, and these are sleek and stylish no matter what gender you are and what setting you're in. I give these two thumbs up!

I find that Moab Ventilator shoes without the M-Dry are quite comfortable. In my case, they run true to size. I would suggest trying on any Merrell shoe before purchasing. They all fit a little different depending on if they have Gore Tex, M-Dry, or no water proofing. Merrrell's with no water proofing tend to fit the best, followed by Gore Tex. I am not a fan of M-Dry as it tends to make the shoe hot and it makes the shoe feel tighter. It tends to take up toe box room and shoe volume. The only issue I have with these shoes, are that the soles are slick on wet rocks. This seems to be an issue with all Moab Ventilator shoes. These are much better that the water proof versions. They breathe well unlike the M-Dry versions. If going for water resistance choose Gore Tex over M-Dry.

Merrell make some of the most comfortable footwear. Not all will be perfect for your specific fit, but when you find that right pair, you know. They make footwear comfortable enough to be on your feet all day.

Seemed like a good shoe at first but if you walk or run with any feet pronation (high arches, walk/stand/run on the outside of your feet) these will not work for you. I spoke to a Merrel clerk at an actual Merrel store and she informed me that they hear this concern regularly and advised me to return the shoe. She said the design of the sole of the shoe forces you to walk flat footed.

These are light weight yet perfectly constructed and sized. They breathe well and your feet don't end up with that wet feel that some sneakers create. As an older person I like the feel of a renewed bounce in my step.

This is not my first pair of these shoes so I guess I must like them enough to pay a premium for the Merrell brand. They are light, well ventilated, long lasting and good looking. They make a great Arizona hiking and walking shoe.

My husband has been wearing these shoes for about two weeks now, and he's very pleased with them: they fit well, are very comfortable, and no break-in period was required. The sizing is true, and although he usually chooses a wide width the medium width fits him perfectly. He used to wear New Balance cross-trainers, but they no longer fit well, so he decided to try these; all in all, a very good purchase and excellent value.
