Rated 3 out of 5 by ValGal411 Nice top but runs large in size...
Nice top but this runs large in my opinion. I ordered a medium and it was huge on me. I based the sizing of a "medium" upon my other Bean tops which are exactly similar to this style. I think this top is sized differently.? Had to send it back. I will try a small.

Rated 4 out of 5 by TravelingSideburys Fits me perfectly, not clingy
Bought the purple stripe and the black skirt. size medium, top fits perfect. 5'1" 155# size 12 36C - the length was great on me falls at lower hip. Ordering 2 more. Dressy fabric great for work and casual. Not too hot.

Rated 2 out of 5 by MorningDove Armholes too big, fit too snug, color muddy
i bought this sleeveless shell in heather blue, in my size, on sale. The armholes were too large and the fit was odd. It flashes my bra straps, which I don't want to reveal. Overall, it fit too snugly and the color, which I'd been excited about, turned out to appear too muddy and unflattering. Am returning this shirt.

I bought this top in a 3x. With my arms at my sides it was so short that my navel showed. Totally unacceptable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by QualityShopper Perfect match
Bought the heather blue with black stripes to wear with the heather flyaway cardigan - perfect match! Unlike some other reviewers, I think the front shirring adds a nice touch. Laundered well; cold water; low heat.

Rated 2 out of 5 by birdiegal Not the color I was hoping for
I ordered this shell in "Ivory," which appeared as barely off-white on my screen. When it arrived, I took one look at the color and didn't even open the inner plastic bag. "Sand" or "Latte" would be a better descriptor for this very light tan/beige. If that's what you are looking for, you might enjoy this shell.
I cannot comment on the fit, as I didn't try it on. It was returned the same day.
Thanks so much, LLBean, for the easy shipping and return policy. For those of who live in shopping wasteland, it is much appreciated.
Thanks, also, for the reviews. They are very helpful, and I hope that this one helps someone else avoid a return.

Rated 1 out of 5 by ellie1927 ruined after one wash
After the first wash, the neckline was stretched and buckled. Also, the fibers were raised on the garment giving it a fuzzy look with areas of discoloration. I got the eggplant/black stripe style, so the discoloration was very noticeable--light spots that looked like lint but did not wash off in the next wash or come off with a lint roller. I can't wear it and plan to return it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by LoveToEat Tanks were made to fit me!
I now own four of these indispensable tanks. The gathering at the neck adds a feminine touch and provides the extra room I need at the chest. The arm holes are just snug to provide good coverage. I combine these with the indispensable flyaway jacket, which gives me the layering I need to deal with hot flashes.
I am 5'1", have a slight belly, and a 38D chest.

Rated 1 out of 5 by graytabby ditto on neckline
Even with the gathers, looked okay until I washed & dried them (got it in 2 colors!). Then the neckline bunched up & twisted over so it looks like an old funky tee. Cannot wear these to work unless I overlay the neckline with a scarf. Pretty expensive wasted purchase.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Iowabean Neck sewn by a 5th grader
As you can see from the picture, there's a little something going on with the neckline; maybe the designer thought it was shirring. Can't tell if it was the way the shirt was cut and/or sewn, but it's a twisty mess that I don't want to wear. Too bad because the fit and the fabric are very nice.
