Rated 5 out of 5áby Cloudrunner Great Pack!
I bought this a few weeks ago on special and only took it out for a hike last weekend. It is a great backpack. Comfortable and good looking, too. Just the right size storage area. I don't understand those who claim it's too small for a day pack. It takes a 2-liter bladder, and there are two side pockets for extra water bottles, if needed. I also like the extra pocket on top; it's lined with soft fleece. Definitely recommend. (5'6"/120 pounds)

Very nice pack, however, it's very small! You won't pack much once your camel is inserted...you won't pack much even if it is not! Don't let the picture fool you, it is very small, about the size I would use for a large purse! I returned this for a larger day pack.

Rated 2 out of 5áby LLBeanfanMomof4 sooooooo disappointed!
I really wanted to love this pack...it is the perfect size, has just the right amount of pockets, has a sternum strap, and is hydration compatible. I needed it as a small pack for traveling, places like Disney, small day hikes, etc...and for my endurance riding (horseback) and something that wouldn't bounce. Well, I was so happy to see the pretty green color when I got it too...but tried it on and I felt like the straps were going to cut off my head! The way the pack is designed is to be small and comfortable, but the straps are set way too close together and therefore, cut at your neck and rub and that was with the pack completely empty! I tried putting stuff in it to see if it changed that, and it only made it worse....then I moved the sternum straps down some (which was incredibly hard in itself), and then it made it worse too! So, this is going back and I am so disappointed. I am 5'5" and a little large in the chest, but my size didn't have much to do with the strap and their poor design flaw. I really hope LL Bean fixes this part because otherwise, this pack is perfect!

Rated 4 out of 5áby MamaUpstate Perfect for my petite frame!
I tried many lightweight packs before finally going with this one. It is lightweight, it fits enough stuff, but not too much, and it is COMFORTABLE ON MY SHOULDERS AND NECK!!
I'm 5'2 and 110 lbs. I ended up buying and having to resell, or returning, the other ones. I should have gone with this one first! It is worth it to try several... but so challenging to get something that works. It is worth every penny.

Rated 5 out of 5áby KnittingBookie Fantastic!!!!!
I have a small frame and have never found a backpack that worked for me. Recently we were going on a Dental mission to Turkey and I needed something that would hold my rain gear, camera, water, binoculars, knitting, medical gear, snacks etc but I didn't want to strain my shoulders the way most backpack do. This one is perfect! This one is narrower than most of the packs I have tried and so is easy to maneuver. I can get about 15 + lbs of stuff in it, I cinch up the waist belt and away I go. If I could give this pack a 20 star rating I would.

Rated 5 out of 5áby Channy Great daypack for petite women
This pack is exactly what my dr. and physical therapist recommended. I am 5'2", 67 yrs old, and have arthritis in my neck from years of various sports, sitting in front of a computer, knitting, & lifting grandchildren. I've now learned that EVERY backpack should have a hip strap that is always used to take much of the weight off shoulders & cervical vertebra. This pack has excellent hip & sternum straps, is barely 1-1/2 lbs, and is now my daily "purse". It holds everything I need, including iPad, knitting & water. Ladies, whatever your age, shoulder bags stress & push your spine out of alignment. If you wonder why your back, shoulders & neck ache, try losing the shoulder bag. Use a light backpack w/ hip strap instead of a x-shoulder purse.

Rated 5 out of 5áby TexasTrails Better than expected
After searching and trying on a number of daypacks, I finally ordered the Lily 18. I am a 5'4" female and this pack fits me perfectly. I wanted something a little smaller than the typical 20 - 25 litre day pack. Perfect for packing a few items when I bike, day hike and overnight travel bag. Like all the compartments and pockets to stay organized. Well made. I ordered the bright blue color - a plus for staying visible when biking. Liked the price point - great value.

Rated 4 out of 5áby mmkz Nice pack but not quite right for me.
The pack is so cute and a great size for just what you need for a day hike without being cumbersome and in the way of scrambling hikes that are more challenging. I think- I haven't tried it on a hike. It just doesn't feel right on me. I am 5'3" female 130 lbs and the specially designed shoulder straps just didn't feel right. And the sternum strap is too hard to adjust. It also felt kind of short for my torso. The Osprey raptor, a men's pack, felt by far and away better. But I think it is REALLY a good idea to order a few and try them out- pack them with your gear, adjust them to fit you, wear them around. I definitely am glad I did. It's hard to tell from looking online.

Rated 4 out of 5áby SJAP Perfect for nordic center skiing
I needed something that I could stash my winter layers in as I discard them during the day, as the temperature rises. I didn't want something too big & bulky. This was just the right size. I love the stash pocket for putting things that might have gotten damp, like gloves. It's narrow, but has lots of depth. Very comfortable, not too hot on my back, lightweight and has lots of nice features. I can see how women with a longer torso might not be able to wear it though. In backpacks that are sized, I usually wear a small or extra small, and it fit me great. The only thing it doesn't have that I wished it did, is a pocket in front for easy access to chap stick. Love it anyway!

Rated 3 out of 5áby Montanara a nice pack but for not for "serious" use
I am returning this pack for several reasons. It is too short for me (5'5-Ż"). The hip belt falls at my waist, which is not only uncomfortable, but the weight of the pack cannot rest on my hips as it should. This isn't a problem if the pack is used around town, traveling, or short walks in the park, but I wanted it for all-day hikes on rough mountain trails. For that use, I would also say that the side flaps on the belt are too short; they should come farther around the torso (a couple of pockets there would be nice too) for more comfort and stability. They should also have more padding. A set of loops for attaching trekking poles would also be useful. It's an attractive pack that will be fine for many people, but I wouldn't recommend it for serious hiking. The front pocket on the one I received was sewn on crooked.
