Rated 4 out of 5 by Waring Nice but Slate is Too Dark
A very well made jacket but the jacket in slate was too black for my more traditional taste - a dark grey would have been great.

A little heavier than I thought it would be, but overall a very nice coat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Moozie Great Quality for a husband who travels
We picked this up at the store on sale and we are so happy with the quality, the fit and the overall look. My husband can't usually wear LL Bean sports jackets because he is of slight build, but this Signature jacket fit to a tee! Even though we are of retirement age, we both love the Signature line. The fabric is very substantial and therefore doesn't wrinkle after days of travel.

Rated 3 out of 5 by BusinessZach Fits well, fabric is shinny, however
I ordered my standard sizes. The jacket and pants fit well, but the fabric for both is every shinny. I'm not sure if this will dull out over time, but it's almost unwearable right now.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Kaongs You need to offer tall sizes
Hi. I ordered this jacket in my normal size, but noted that you don't offer tall or long sizes. I's 6'4" and I normally wear a 42 long. Long story short, this jacket is waaaaay to short and I'm returning it pronto. And I can't even exchange for a different size because the size I need doesn't seem to exist. Any plans to offer long sizes, folks?

This is a nice jacket, well taylors and crisp looking. Very stylish. It is a great spring and fall weight but is functional for 4 seasons for those who don't wear sports jackets frequently. I also got the pants to match and we are all set for a Jamaica wedding in April!

Just purchased this blazer. Was very excited, until I tried it on. I cannot begin to tell you how disappointed I was. The cut of this blazer is nothing like that in which the photo suggests - it was more of a large box cut, I was swimming in it. Secondly, and probably more inportant is the fact it was lined with a very stiff cotton twill canvas, which naturally resulted in cardboard look and feel to the jacket. What were you guys thinking? The only good thing about this blazer is that you made functional buttonholes on the sleeve vents. (I personally do not own suit that does not - I believe it seperated the men from the boys.) I will be returning this blazer today. I still love LLBean and will continue to wear your boots and clothing, thought I might be wary of trying another blazer.

Fit is good, fabric (including lining fabric) appears to be durable.
One extremely irritating detail: the sleeves are provided with stitched (though non-functional) buttonholes that will end up in unattractive locations if the sleeves are shortened.
