Rated 1 out of 5 by 04034 Lakewashed Cotton Chinos
Ordered 32w 30 length
Inseam measured 32 inches - too long.
Pant sizes not accurate - had this problem several times in the past, either too short/long. Returned item.

Rated 4 out of 5 by PatrickinConn Not bad but not what I was hoping for
I just received these today (used up those $10 gift cards).
Specs prior to washing (not in a lake)
Tagged 36 x 29. Actual 38 x 29.25
Rise 12 inches. Knee width 11 inches; hem 9.25 inches.
Pros: Untreated, soft hand, locker loop, extra button on waist (I like that, my pants tend to shift around). Lots of colors.
Cons: Funky stitching on back pockets; vanity sizing (I assume they'll shrink a little)
Verdict: Decent enough. I've written to LL Bean urging them to bring back the untreated Double L chinos. Non-iron has its place, but I'd like to have the option, and the cut and styling of the Double L is ideal for me.
These are close enough for jazz or government work. I'll probably get a couple more in different colors.
Bear in mind these are "natural fit" ? "Standard fit" is advertised as sitting below the waist, which won't work for me with the predetermined inseams.

Rated 4 out of 5 by marnylee A well-received gift
Given as a gift, the recipient said these trousers are most satisfactory. Casual and relaxed without looking sloppy, the fit is just right. The fabric is substantial, perfect for cooler days. All typically good LLBean quality and iif he's happy with them, I'm happy.
Can't wait to get the pair that is on backorder! Thank you.

Just bought these for my husband in Navy & British Khaki. He looks great in them! I especially love the British Khaki because it's so dark it doesn't show stains. Will definitely purchase again!

Great fit and the quality appears to be up to LLBean standards, which is to say the best!

This is my first pair of Cotton Chinos from L.L. Bean and already I know they will become my favorite pant to wear. They fit true to size and the brushed cotton makes them feel awesome to wear. I start a new job in two weeks and I am going to order a different color but same style to wear. I love wearing cloths that are stylish yet comfortable.

Extremely soft. Ample hip & thigh room. Sits at waist. Inner button keeps waist from sagging. Without a doubt the most comfortable pants I've ever worn. Will buy more as wardrobe needs arise.

Rated 3 out of 5 by MattinPittsburgh Just okay
These pants are soft, no doubt about it, but a little too swooshy for my taste. Also seem to fit a little tighter than some other Bean chino offerings. I'm not a fan of the belt loops on this style -- they seem shorter in length that other belt loops and there are eight of them, and the back ones are very close together. Overall, not a bad pair of pants but not great either. Definitely not my go to pants; I prefer the 1912 Chino much more.

Rated 5 out of 5 by honeybooks comfortable. light weight
My husband loves these. He now has 3 pair. The legs zip off to turn your pants into shorts!!! fantastic. . Zip off the pant legs, fold, and tuck them into one of your pockets. Great for tarveling Saves room in your luggage! And needless to say, LLB quality is always great.

Rated 1 out of 5 by MRB1668 No Style - NOT Soft
I am returning these pants. IMO they have no style....stitching on the back to make it appear there are rear pocket flaps is not style. They are cut very boxy. AND they are not soft..unless you compare them to cardboard. Finally the spandex gives them a sheen type finish, that in my opinion look more like a ladies pant, then a mans pant. Overall grade on this effort is F. It appears the Marketing Depart. promised a little more than could be delivered. On top of that I get nicked $6.95 to send them back.
I use to buy 90% of my pants from LL Bean, fit finish, fabrics were all A+...but over the years fit, finish, and fabrics have just deteriorated...to this pant......I'm done...time to find a new supplier.
