Rated 5 out of 5 by Mervich Men's Shearling Lined Camp Moc
I've looked at these shoes for more than a year. Just could not pull the trigger on them because of the reviews saying there's a significant bump in the shearling footbed and that they run long and narrow. I finally ordered?got them today. In-so-far-as the sizing: my 10˝ Ds are a near perfect fit?maybe just ever-so slightly snug at first, due to the lining?the shearling packs down pretty quickly though, making the shoe feel very comfortable (and warm). The shoe is no longer than my other Bean camp mocs in the same size. The "bump"? Well the "bump" is there, but it feels like there may be cushioning liner under the raised part of the footbed at the rear of the shoe. I frankly don't feel the bump at all while wearing the shoe?and I have sensitive feet. Maybe my 230 pounds smacks the bump right down! The upper is a thick, soft, waxy, medium brown leather. The rubber soles are the same as found on Bean's regular iconic camp mocs and bluchers. No regrets here?and I am picky. Well done, Mr. Bean!

Rated 3 out of 5 by TR6guy Very nice shoe but marginal shape
I like the shoe and am going to keep it but, the shape of the shoe is different than the shape of my foot, the two outside toes touch the shoe enough to be noticeable and therefore kind of annoying. A problem I have that is not the fault of the shoe is that I wear a lift inside one which moves forward and makes walking uncomfortable until it is moved back into place. If you like the wool resting up under and a little in between your toes you should like the feel. Good looking shoe.

These mocs look great and are well made, but the insole is in two pieces (which I had read about) and after a while, testing them out, it got uncomfortable. Too bad because I really liked everything about them, but that weird two-piece insole. Maybe with thick socks it won't bother everyone. Easy fix for LL Bean, however. Just make it one piece shearling insole.

Rated 4 out of 5 by robby8 Beautiful shoe, supersoft and warm lining
Really durable, nice shoe and shearling lining is great. They should make more shoes with this lining. However, as another reviewer said the seam is right across the middle of the shoe in a weird spot. If you have plantar issues you may not get used to it. Hoping to adjust to it so not to return them. Aside from this, the shoe is really well made.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Bunkum bump in lining under arch of foot uncomfortable!
What's gotten into the quality control people at Bean?
As noted in other reviews of this shearling lined moccasin, the bottom of the shearling lining drops about 1/4 inch under the tongue, creating an uncomfortable bump.
Back they go, thank heaven we don't have to ship them, and pay for the failure of their product quality control!

Rated 3 out of 5 by Tommiek No half sizes
Wanted to order slippers in size 8 1/2 EE or EEE. Bean makes moccasins in half sizes but not slippers. Do not understand their reasoning behind this. Not logical. If their customers need half sizes in moccasins/shoes, wouldn't it seem logical that they also need half sizes in slippers.
Bean messed up on this one. Now I have moccasins instead of more comfortable slippers. Not happy with Bean on this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by OldLadyInTheShoe Great Men's Shearling Lined Camp Moccasins
My husband has been wearing these moccasins everyday since they arrived. They are replacing a pair of suede lined moccasin slippers also from L.L. Bean about 2 years ago which wore well. However he now decided he needed a little more substantial support. These have turned out to be just what he needed and they are still flexible and comfortable enough to wear as slippers. He says they are nice and warm for winter wear here in N.Y.state's cold weather. Thanks L.L.Bean for your great quality slipper collection. I just ordered some for my daughter and myself as replacement for our worn out pairs of L.L.Bean slippers.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Blackarluk Comfortable. Completely lined inside.
Substantial feel and looks. Capable of some tightening which is good because originally there was slight slippage. Sole compatible with moderate outdoor use. Permanent lining seems to improve fit, but disallows replacement when lining is worn through.
Much better than similar item previously purchased from another source, which was too tight and now will be donated. Glad I have these Camp Mocs. Have been wearing them regularly in the morning and evening. Not cheap but good tradeoff for free shipping and none of that rip off for "shipping and handling."

Rated 5 out of 5 by 11SandyJDC48 Great fit!
I have 3 pairs of Wicked Good slipper mocs so I ordered the same size Camp Mocs. I needed to exchange for a half size smaller, and they are perfect!! I'm looking forward to a LONG time with these shoes!
(I have older Camp Mocs w/o the shearling but with neuropathy in my feet, I've discovered that shearling really helps with the neuropathic pain because it keeps the temperature optimum around the feet - neither too hot nor too cold.) I'm SO glad LL Bean is offering a solid shoe with shearling - thanks!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Laurence warm and comfortable
These moccasins are very comfortable and warm. They make perfect slippers with the distinct advantage of not leaving die stains on a wet floor because it has a standard sole, unlike other very comfortable shearling lined mocs, that are sold as slippers, without a sole.
Best "slippers" I have ever had.
