Really cool jacket--beautiful and substantial but soft corduroy, great details, cozy. I bought up a size because I like my jackets roomy. This jacket just felt right as soon as I put it on. Wish I could order all the colors! The sale colors that I ordered (green and plum) are beautiful.

I am looking forward to wearing this dusty olive corduroy blazer. The length is good and the blazer has a tailored effect. I especially like the patched elbows - very collegiate touch. Worn with a turtleneck it should make a wicked nice autumn item.
My criticism is that I had purchased your dusty olive corduroy Bay Back pants with the intent of having a matching suit, however, even though the colors have the same name the dye was different and the two pieces did not match at all.
In the future, it would be nice to be able to match up corduroy pants and blazers.

The jacket arrived completely wrinkled and bundled up. The folds affects the nap of the corduroy so that there are white marks. I did try it on. The fit was true to size (small for me) and the arms were not tight. However, it definitely did not seem like an $80 jacket and the way it arrived really put me off so I returned it.

I wanted a red cordouroy jacket and came across this one, online. I am petite but I ordered the small in regular size. I wanted the jacket to be loose so I can wear sweaters underneath. The sleeves are a little long but I can roll them. A Great Fit for 80 bucks!

Rated 5 out of 5 by LadyHiker101 Perfect topper for Beans corduroy pants
Bought it in beige. It is the perfect accent jacket for the all corduroy pants I already own in multiple colors from Bean. It's not too heavy so you can comfortably wear a blouse underneath and not have to take it later off because you get too hot. I find the details on the in good taste, feminine and quite attractive. I have only worn it a few times, but every time I have, I received multiple compliments on it, and "how put together" my outfit looks. I am 5'1/2", weigh 125, waist 27, hips 37, 33 inches through my back. Small Misses fits me well. I do not plan on washing the coat but rather having it dry cleaned. I have done some spot cleaning, however, with great results. Hope this helps.

This blazer fit as expected, is lightweight so excellent for layering, and has a nice finish.
For me, I'm especially grateful that the arms are cut large enough to be comfortable.

I wore this everyday for last few weeks as a fall jacket. I love the jewel colors plum and deep green. It has great shape and structure, while being soft and figure hugging as well. I am not a fan of the chest pockets, but all the other details are nice and make it more interesting. I love how the lapel can stay folded, but can be buttoned to chin if needed.
Given the design, it is not a conventional work type blazer and it is pricey for a cotton jacket, but once I tried it on at the store, it is now my fall wardrobe staple and I plan to use it to layer in winter under my boiled wool coat and also as an indoor jacket on its own. The green color will be great for spring. I just hope it holds up well after washing.

Best thing about this is the fabric, very substantial and soft.. The waist band is at a weird place, and the side straps are not attached so they catch on things. The upper arms are also very tight, no way could I wear a sweater with this. I am tallish (5'8"), the sleeve length was ok but the total length was more like a cropped blazer, and I don't think it was supposed to be.
Would love a corduroy blazer in this fabric with no extra frills (except maybe lining) - no waistband, no extra pockets - and how about making talls for women? Please?

This is a well-made, beautiful jacket, however, the sleeves are cut too slender for me. I ordered a size medium, and there is plenty of room in the body of the jacket. It fits fine with sleeveless tops, but there is not enough room inside the sleeves for a sweater. It is quite a disappointment, as I really wanted to wear the jacket this fall. For someone with very thin arms, the jacket would probably be fine.

I keep ordering Bean jackets in hopes the styling has improved but this jacket is the same as ever----narrow shoulders and wide hips. Other that that the workmanship is excellent. I just wish I could wear this shape.
