Rated 4 out of 5 by Petersen Nice jacket, but I ordered a size too large
At six feet tall and on the thin side, I normally take a large in jackets. Based on the previous reviews, it appeared as though the sizes ran small, so I ordered an XL size instead.
Wrong. I shouldn't have listened. The XL size is what I'd expect an XL size to be ? too large for me. It's not so large that I'll be sending it back, but I should have stuck to my usual size and ordered a large. The sleeves and body are just a bit too long, and it's, well, just a bit baggy ? all of which would have been remedied if I'd ordered my usual size.
Anyway, the jacket itself is well-made. The orange color I got, is very bright, as in screaming-out-loud visible. It's a very light jacket but great for keeping the wind out (just got back from a 12-mile bicycle ride). What really amazed me is how it repels water. As a test, I literally held it under running water, shook it off and it was dry. Whether it would hold up like that in a downpour after having been washed a few times, I don't know yet.

Rated 4 out of 5 by SouthRunner Very good update, but
This shell is very good update, better closures and slightly more robust material than model from a few years ago. Only thing missing was useful breast pocket with closure that was on previous models

I bought this for my husband after we'd looked a while for a lightweight jacket w/high visibility for nighttime walking. It runs small. He normally wears a size large, which I had to return for XL, and that has no excess room. It's not made for cold temperatures (tag tells you that), and fit doesn't allow for bulk underneath, so don't expect to make it work when temperature drops below 45 or so degrees. It's just what my husband was looking for; it's very well made, nice style, and comfortable. And I got a great sale price at LLbean!

Rated 3 out of 5 by CedarPoint Well made, however
I ordered a size larger than I normally wear so that I could add a layer or two of fleece for colder running days. It was still too tight through the shoulders. I am not broad shouldered.
I am returning this jacket and will look for one that has raglan sleeves rather than set-in sleeves.

I am 6ft 2in and weigh 200 lbs. I knew I would need to wear layers uder this jacket in the fall and spring. I ordered a large jacket but it was too tight so I ordered an extra large which alows me to layer perfectly.

I bought this jacket because I wanted visibility when I ride my bike. It has certainly done that. However I found a unexpected benefit to this jacket. Recently I was riding my bicycle when I got caught in the worst rainfall I've experienced in a long while. It was raining so hard that the storm sewers were backing up,I wasn't riding through puddles I was riding through rivers. When I got home I was completely drenched, I had to wring my gloves out and my shoes had water in them, however my jacket, which I thought would just keep out light rain, had kept my torso totally dry. At the same time every thing in my saddlebags, which are made a very strong material, was wet. This is a great jacket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by silver20 Great for bicycling
Very lightweight, but still quite warm enough in 50 degree weather, Brilliant yellow-green color makes me feel a lot safer when bicycling on city streets. Jacket is well-made with attention to sewing details.
