Rated 1 out of 5 by Glorp Nice style; horrible fabric
I ordered the sleeveless and with-sleeve versions of this dress and was excited to receive them an hour ago. I tried both of them on immediately, and knew instantly that they would have to be returned. The fabric feels like thick bathing suit material, and the black dress looks like a seal's skin. Gross. This was not how I expected a summer dress - or any dress, for that matter - to feel. Silly me, for ignoring the fact that it's mostly thick Lycra. SO BUYER BEWARE: DON'T OVERLOOK THIS. If you like thick bathing suit material, go for it. If not, don't buy it. I'm so disappointed. They're both going back tomorrow because the thought of that material against my skin gives me the heebie-jeebies. Too bad this dress style doesn't come in good old-fashioned cotton or even cotton/polyester.

Rated 2 out of 5 by SconnieGirl Not for Hourglass Figures
I ordered my usual size in the Black color and found the fit very strange. The top was large and the bodice and skirt clingy. Being busty, this is the opposite problem I usually have. The "empire" waist is so by seaming decoration only, the actual waist of the garment by contour is average. The fabric is heavier than expected and seems to have a great deal of stretch, but it clung badly to my hourglass hips and thighs. Very disappointing, as it was a cute dress and seemed perfect for casual outings.

Rated 5 out of 5 by TennisMenace Point/Counterpoint
Just read the previous review and had to offer a counterpoint -- I, too, have many bulges in the middle and a far-from-flat derriere but found this dress to hide them pretty well. I can only suggest going one size up (as long as the top part still fits reasonably well) so the middle part can hang more loosely. I wore this dress constantly on a warm weather cruise to casual dinners where shorts would have been too casual.

Rated 3 out of 5 by mycommonsense Plasticky-feeling fabric, unflattering cut
I tried this dress on as soon as it arrived and felt depressed for the rest of the evening as it accentuated my muffin top and my protruding rear. On the model, all was flat and in my dreams, the dress looked like that on me, too. Alas, if you have a less-than-flat stomach and tush, this dress will tell the world about those figure flaws. It looked dumpy and baggy. The fabric feels like plastic and I'd hate to sweat, perspire, or even glow in it. The blue color is beautiful. Sorry to have to send the dress back.

Rated 5 out of 5 by janeschmidt The greatest!
I have two of these and they are absolutely the best investment I
ever made. I wore one almost every evening in Costa Rica last year and the other every day in Key Largo last week. In addition, last summer I probably wore them 3-5 times a week when at the library or shopping. Comfortable and it refuses to wrinkle. Strike while they still feature them!

Rated 5 out of 5 by nickyp603 Love this dress
I love this dress. It is perfect for throwing on after a bike ride, hike as well as out with flip flops. I can roll this dress in a ball, shake it out and it looks great. Comfortable, wicking fabric. This is not cotton! I also own the fitness pants and skirt. I live in them!
I'd love this dress in other colors, not prints. small fits my 5'4" frame.

Rated 5 out of 5 by NYshopper99 very well made dress
this is a very well made dress. the v neck is at just the right depth, not too low. The material is thick, which lays on my body smoothly without showing any panty lines. I am 5'3, 113lbs, don't have much curve, I bought regular xs, the dress hit right at my keen, fits me like a glove. A good everyday dress.

Rated 1 out of 5 by portland4 Did not like the fabric or the fit
The fabric is very thick; seams are bulky. If you are trying to hide a large tummy, this may work for you. I am by no means thin, but it looked like a sack on me.

I purchased this dress in the Bold Violet. I have had this dress in many other colours and have always been satisfied, but this one is different. I love the style, colour - in fact these are my go to every day dresses, especially here in Florida where you want something that is comfortable, stylish, yet wicks away moisture. It's a great travel dress, no wrinkles, no iron the perfect companion. OK onto why I am sending this one back...... the stitching down the side seams and the ones at the front shadow a whiteness - which is obviously the seam stitching, it does not give a good look, the stitching also does not look "tight". I compared to my other dresses and they all have a same self colour thread, which makes perfect sense. The stitching along the bodice seam is fine. Some of the other dresses I have even have an overstitching on the seam in self colour which would also of eliminated this "whiteness" - I was hoping it was just my one dress but looks as though it is a construction issue - please bring it back with a self colour thread. I love my fitness dresses.

Rated 5 out of 5 by SwiftlyDoesIt Versatile, comfortable, flattering
After relishing my purchase of the black fitness dress I decided the print in French Blue would be a worthwhile experiment. I love this dress just as much if not more! I call the blue one my Superhero Dress because the slick fabric makes me feel aerodynamically ready for the day. It's smooth and shiny and drapes beautifully. I'm a curvy gal and like how the dress cascades over my hips while kindly leaving my middle alone. I get at least one compliment on these dresses every time I wear them. I feel they run large and loose - I'm 5'6", 140 lbs wearing the size S and was swimming in a size M. The fabric does feel thick but it keeps me surprisingly cool in hot weather activities, while in the winter I wear these dresses with tights and boots (like a proper superhero) and throw a sweater over the top. Cute look and very warm layering. In fact, I was having a hard time finding the right winter skirt for my wardrobe - no hemline was flattering enough, fabrics were either too stiff or too flimsy. Once I figured out how versatile these dresses were, I realized I have two perfect winter skirts already and saved myself money and hassle right there. Already they're working their superpowers!
