I purchased this coat in the size I usually get, when I got it, it was too small, the fleece takes up a whole size. I returned it and got the replacement which was one size larger and the fit is great. This will be a great winter coat for the snow.

There are some things in men's haberdashery that have stood the test of time and should never be changed: 1. A man's jacket is traditionally lined with a satiny fabric, so he can slide it on over sweaters or textures. NEVER, NEVER, NEVER use fleece as a lining. Maybe as a interface, but NEVER AS A LINING. 2. Take all the Velcro in your workrooms and BURN IT. Velcro destroys sweaters and most fabrics with which it comes in contact. A traditional snap works best. The first thing I do when I find Velcro on a coat is razor blade it off and then have my tailor put a snap there. I wish it had never been invented. 3. Never put elastic on the end of a sleeve. We are not babies, and you can't get another sleeve under it, which is necessary since we are not naked under a rain garment. Besides, elastic makes the sleeve pinch us--OUCH! 4. Since you make both jackets and coats as rainwear, then go ahead and make the coats nice and long--and generous--about 6 inches below the knee, like a balmacaan. 5. As long as you can zip the coat all the way up, we don't need these enormous flaps over our necks. They poke under the chin and are really annoying while shopping or sitting on a bus trying to read. Go back to the design of the O WK95 you used to make with PRIMALOFT under the satin lining; make one with Primaloft and one without and you will have a quality garment that anybody can wear. When mine wears out, I am going to have my tailor copy it in a bright color, so I can be seen on a dismal, rainy day. I AM SICK OF BLACK. If something ain't broke DON'T FIX IT.

Going back to LLBean. What a poor fit, bad zipper, tight fleece sleeves, overall bad quality. LLBEAN??

I love this coat for rain when there is a nip in the air. The fleece lining is great. I have to order in a larger size because the cut in my size is too small. Also I have not had it for very long so time will tell if my initial reaction is correct.

Got the xxlarge for passengers/crew on boat. So far all have enjoyed the comfort, warmth and rainproof material of coat. Yes, the lining in the arms bunches, perhaps the warmth means more than a wrinkle or two. Also bought the unlined one last summer.

Rated 1 out of 5áby Glennod Poor Zippers, bad fit and lining was poor.
Just returned this coat to the LL Bean retail store. I should have read other reviews more carefully. Others were right. The zippers on this coat are extremely poor quality. It took me four tries just to zipper up the coat. Also, the coat fit me extremely poorly. I ordered an extra large. I am 5' 10" tall and weigh 200. The coat looked like a sack on me. Finally while wearing a sweatshirt or sweater the lining rode up on the sleeves and had to be adjusted. I highly suggest looking at other coats.

This would be an excellent rain coat if the zipper wasn't so difficult to start. And easily gets stuck on the fabric. Other than that, it is very warm and does keep you dry. The zipper needs to be replaced with a more reliable zipper. It's very frustrating as is.

Rated 4 out of 5áby yendilady !!!fleece lined sleeves
This coat is a good length, a good design, a good price: as my husband said, "Everything was good about it, except you couldn't wear it." Why? Because the sleeves are lined with fleece, and he couldn't get his arm down it with his blazer on. Maybe you could, if you were wearing a relatively smooth shirt (i.e. not chamois).

Rated 5 out of 5áby doodobber Lightweight but hopefully warm
I bought this for my son for Christmas so he hasn't seen/worn it yet. I took it out of the bag and it seems to be a very light weight fleece lined coat. This will be perfect for him because he's hot natured and loves cold weather but needs something to keep dry in Ohio winters. Shipping, of course, was quick and ordering online is so easy.

Definitely warm and definitely water repellant, this coat will find me wearing it often in the Fall/Winter/Spring.
