This is good ultralite stuff for a backpacker. Anything that comes close is going to cost you about 150$ or more. It does fit into the stuff sack. Just fold it, roll it up, and stuff it in there. It is tight, but that's great, because it saves room. My large tall weighs a whopping 6.4 grams with the sack. For the weight of the thing, it is as tough as it is going to get. I would buy another, if this wears out. For the price, you could buy 4 or 5 of them verses one expensive one that is about just as durable for an ultralight rain/wind coat. I don't sweat much at all either, so i could care less about vents. Thank You LL bean!!!

We ordered one Men's and one Women's. The fabric was very thin, great for joggers but felt as though it'd tear easily so we returned them.

Rated 4 out of 5 by BobM10 Just needs some vents
I use it Mountain biking and layer with LL River Driver and LL Fitness and I am good to the low teens. When it get above 30 degrees I subtract the River Driver. The hood works great under my helmet and keeps my ears plenty warm when needed. Also its very hard to find a hood in a light weight Jacket such as this so big plus to LL here. Add some vents and this item would be perfect.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Verified Reviewer Empty Pockets
Purchased this a few months back and it quickly became a mainstay. Loved the light nature of the fabric, the solid performance in the rain, and the cut. Great jacket all around. Last week, I noticed the reflective material around the pockets creasing, the only way I can explain it. Soon, a hole began to develop at the top of the pocket. Turns out, that reflective material is backed with a type of glue that holds the pockets to the jacket. In an effort to reduce weight, I guess, they glued the pockets to the jacket instead of sewing them. The pockets on both sides were breaking free of the jacket.
I took the jacket back to an LLBean store in Saucon Valley, PA and received my money back. I chose not to exchange for a new item because it appears that this would happen again down the road. Unfortunate, because I loved the jacket otherwise. Tremendous value, when compared to jacket named after a famous escape artist sold by another company, which this jacket seems to be modeled after.
It doesn't diminish my opinion of the brand, however. Love LL products and will continue to shop there.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Moyr I love this jacket
This is the perfect jacket to carry with you on hot weather days just in case it gets cold. I'm always carrying it with me in the summer time in NYC usually because of over air conditioned trains and buildings. It weighs next to nothing and can be wadded up and even carried in a pants pocket. The color of my jacket is black and it looks good with both office and weekend clothes.

Rated 4 out of 5 by edumom12 Wind proof extra layer
Tall, XL fits my 6'4", 185 pound husband well. Not baggy around the middle like some LLB XL products. Good as an extra layer to stash away for windy days at the lake or at the golf course. Can get hot, but then it's easy to strip it off and carry it, or pack it. Stuffing pouch is way too small! Caution, not waterproof, so protect your phone.

Rated 4 out of 5 by KKGH Really needs some vents but otherwise good
Bought this for my husband who used it for a short run in the rain. It seemed to perform great, certainly is light weight. He did say his back got clammy from sweat and his armpits were hot. He wished it had ventilation openings under the arms in particular. I have a similar fabric jacket from Brooks which does have a big vent across the shoulders and it really makes a difference. I may see if I can figure out how to add vents under the arms for him. Otherwise it's great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Fenway1 Really Nice
Really nice jacket for the price compared to The North Face jacket which is about $200. I ordered the Black in size Small for my son. Fit well and was easy to roll up and put in your pocket. He really liked it and he is very picky. Great value! Quality material too!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by DC714 Against the wind and dark
The windbreaker I've been waiting for -- ideal for layering on particularly damp, windy days yet also for clear, cold windy days. So many are just a little too heavy. Nice and compact-able, too, if I need to shed and pocket it. Not to mention unmistakeable during a long, dark winter -- especially in this stretch of all-too-early sunsets and none-too-early sunrises ...
