Rated 1 out of 5 by Steve6000 Zipper Sticks in Up Position
The zipper on these pants sticks in the up position. I am able to get it loose, with time and patience, but it should not stick on a new pair of pants.

The zippers are made of plastic or nylon and will not hold up. I ordered two pair and one was defective out of the box. LLBean apparently objected to my first attempt to review this item so will be interesting to see if they allow this review to post. Plastic zippers is not the quality I expect from LL Bean

I really hope you read this L.L. Bean. I love the fit of these pants and hope to continue to wear them. However, there is a huge flaw that has required me to exchange these pants time after time (three times already) in the span of one year.
The seam that attaches the pants, side pockets, and waist is very weak and rips VERY easily. It's almost like one weak thread holds these pants together.
L.L. Bean, please take this feedback seriously and fix this major flaw. If you need further explanation where these pants are falling apart, please e-mail me.
I don't normally review items but now I have to exchange a fourth pair of these pants.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Egyptianboy Loose waist, but accurate enough for Indy pant
I measured my waist around belly button, and it was 31",so ordered 31"waist chinos like you do.
But they were about an inch too big at least in the waist so about one size too large in the waist. I then measured the actual waist of the chino to get a accurate reading, and it registered at 331/4" so there was about an inch or so too much material flapping around, so if they shrink that would be a good thing for me.
Slightly too long as well. But they are a accurate enough looking Indiana jones pant, though the colour may need tweaking, with a darker khaki colour, browny grey colour needed.
But no complaints other than that, nice pair of chinos, but I used steam iron and steam iron marks left all over the chino.

I have a big waist, narrow hips, and a short rise. These pants are baggy, loose, and the crotch hangs down to my knees. Definitely not the choice for my body type.

Rated 5 out of 5 by JenCT My husband loves these pants
My husband has bought at least 15 pairs of these pants over the years, and he loves them. He is a bit hard to fit. They are his only work pants, and I love that they are so easy-care (no ironing!). We replace them when the cuffs or pockets start to show wear. Recently they have started to show wear on the belt loops, too. I hate to replace them for such a minor problem.
Please add more colors! You used to have olive.

Rated 5 out of 5 by danpink So far so good
I've only had these pants for a couple of weeks, but so far they look good and feel comfortable, although I wish I'd ordered them a half an inch shorter. (This was entirely my fault and not L. L. Bean's.) They truly are wrinkle resistant --- it's amazing --- and they seem to be somewhat stain resistant, too. Worth the extra money!

Rated 5 out of 5 by mhm1949 Comfortable for work or relaxation
I go between the world at work where I float between having to be semi formal (sport coat and tie) and work casual - just shirt and slacks. These trousers are a good color, good fit and maintain a fresh appearance through the day. I often wear them on weekends for outings and shopping. I own several pairs in various colors and I would recommend them to anyone.
