LLB site says it a polyester/wool blend. The label says 94% polyester. Does that count as a wool garment? It is comfortable and a quality made item. I will use it in this ultra cold weather we're having(along with my LLB Maine Forresters down coat)

Rated 5 out of 5 by Whiteshiker nice fabric, great fit
Received this shirt and loved the feel and construction of the fabric - the contrast stitching is also a nice touch. This fit/sizing is also perfect for me. I'm 5'10, 185 athletic build and the medium is just right...not constricting in any way...could use a little more tapering from shoulders to waist, but a minor point. A much better fit for me than the 2-layer River Driver shirt. Layered or alone, this shirt works!
Liked it so much I ordered another in a different color!

Rated 5 out of 5 by femaleguide Best all around shirt ever!
I have had an LL.Bean Henley shirt for over 20 years. It has been with me threw ever cold winter here in Maine, even a few nights spent on Mt. Katahdin in February. I am a commercial fisherman and Registered Maine guide and I want people to know that I am out in every bit of Maine's extreme weather and this shirt is a great base layer. It is worth ever penny! And for a female it is sometimes hard to find a shirt that is this warm and fits this good.

I own various different Henley Shirts, all purchased from L.L.Bean, but this one is by far the best (although also the most expensive). Nevertheless, you get what you pay for. The fit (Large) is at least for me spot on and it feels soft and comfortable. Makes for perfect layering when traveling by plane in ever changing temperatures. Just for this shirt's ability to keep me comfortable, no matter what temperature settings I encounter, I would give it 5 stars!

Just wore my new Russet Performance Henley for the first time and I must say that it looks and feels good. It's well-made and the elbows are re-enforced.(They kind of look like patches but are the same material and color as the rest of the shirt.# I'm 6 ft /160 lbs. and I found my Medium to be a tad short at the waist and sleeves.#I'd order a Tall, if it was offered, the next time.) Nice shirt but in my opinion it's too expensive for what it is.

Rated 5 out of 5 by shortshorter Comfortable, warm and stylish!
I bought this in-store and didn't realize it had elbow pads until I tried it on. The elbow pads are pretty minimal, blend right into the shirt but it adds a cool style to the shirt. Pretty warm so far and very comfortable. Very pleased with the purchase!

I really liked the looks of this shirt when I got it. Of course, it came a little wrinkled from the packaging. So I washed it according to the instructions on the shirt. I washed it by itself in cold water, dried it on low by itself, still wrinkled. So I dried it again on low with a damp towel, still wrinkled! No, I would not recommend this shirt to anyone.

Rated 4 out of 5 by MandyBen FIts snug, size up
This fits a little snug - if you're a "softer" large, you may want to size up for it to be flattering. The green is GORGEOUS though.

Fabulous shirt, nice details, I wish I could keep it, but unfortunately, I'm going to have to return it. The torso and sleeves are too short and the shoulders and chest are a little too tight. Hopefully they add tall sizing on this one in the future.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Snodge Great shirt!
Have worn this shirt just once and am pleased with the purchase. It looks good, generated nice comments from my fashion advisor (wife), has a nice hefty weight, good looking knit and comfortable fit. The only thing I would change is the sleeve length which seems a touch long. I bought a large and usually wear a 34" sleeve in a dress shirt.
