Rated 4 out of 5áby NHMom2015 Love them, but the straps are too long and shred
My daughter loves these more than her Bogs. She usually chooses to wear these, but, as I have seen other reviewers write, the straps do shred. Pulling the strap tight enough around her ankle makes the strap hang way off, leaving the velcro on the bottom to attach to the strap rather than the upper velcro. That causes the nylon strap to come apart. But, great boot otherwise.

Rated 5 out of 5áby pestypants Great boots!
My daughter loves these boots and so do I! She never complains that her feet are cold or wet and the tread on the bottom is nice for climbing back up the hill in the snow while sledding. I've shopped around at other chain shoe stores for snow boots and still the quality and price of LLBean still keeps me buying them every year. This is our 4th pair of these boots...have to keep buying a new pair every year because of growing feet.

Very cute, well made and warm. My Granddaughter loves them. She says that they are comfortable also.

Rated 5 out of 5áby CaFranklin A Great Snow Boot
This snow boot worked very well for my daughter who is picky and sensitive to ill fitting shoes and clothes. We are inexperienced with snow gear and visited family in Minnesota this winter. I bought these boots online without even trying them on her and she found them to be a perfect fit and very comfortable and functional in the snow. It made for a very good experience and I hope to buy some more pairs for her brothers the next time we visit he snow.

Rated 3 out of 5áby musicowls runs way small!
Bought a boys size 4, which is his size, they are so small my son could not get his foot even part way down the shaft. I do not know who they think this boot is made for, but it's so tight across the Lshaped portion, no way was he getting these on. Will be returning, disappointed because the bigger size is not available, but they look sturdy & well made.

Cute boots but that's about it. My daughter has been wearing these since Thanksgiving and not on a daily basis, the straps have almost fully shredded and now they are out of stock so we are stuck waiting for a replacement pair.

Rated 5 out of 5áby ActiveOutdoorsyMom Toasty Warm and DRY Fun in the Snow!
I bought 2 pairs of these for my two boys, and they were so excited, they wore them before it was really necessary, and they said their feet were roasting hot and sweating. So far no real test of whether they are dry, but Bean's claims they are waterproof. For years, I have been buying cheap or used snow boots, and my kids have been miserable and cold. These are reasonably priced for how incredibly well constructed and sturdy they seem. They do appear to be sealed well, and we have high hopes for dry toes this winter! Rubber toes are attached to the upper securely, and lining is intact with no suspicious looking seams. Bought a size or two UP to accommodate thick socks - they seem true to size only with bare feet, which isn't realistic for winter dress.

Rated 5 out of 5áby SherpaMomOH Boots she WANTS to wear!
Love LL Bean. These boots are so comfortable, she wants to wear them to school with no snow on the ground!
I buy blue, so her younger brother will inherit them... cannot do that with all brands!

These are sturdy boots but the straps need more velcro as they stick out when tightened all the way.

Rated 2 out of 5áby Knightgirl Nice boots but straps are durable
On the inside these boots are fantastic; there is no liner to slip out & my son says his feet never get cold or wet BUT the straps on these boots DO NOT hold up. I've only had these boots for 2 months and the velcro straps are already shredding. We live in the Upper Peninsula of MI so he has to wear these to school everyday and I'm not sure if they'll last until April; which is when our spring starts. The straps need to be much thicker for kids boots.
