Rated 5 out of 5 by Leesee Excellent shoes
My husband tried it for 50 minutes walk in the trial near our home. it is light and comfortable , did not feel it is a pair of new shoes. no break in time needed. He does not have many occasions to wear it. only tried once in a dry day but we like it. do not know the waterproof function. It is well made.and very sturdy.

Rated 3 out of 5 by nazz Well constructed boot; poor fit
I had high hopes for this well-made, light weight boot. However, the footbed did not conform to my foot at all, putting a hump under my heel. Also, The sole of the boot is a bit strangely rounded off at the back of the heel, making the the boot feel less stable than one might like. For me, they were unwearable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Supertreeman Solid, Lightweight, Waterproof
These are really great -- they are the lightest boots I could find for using with a chainsaw and other dangerous equipment.
I like: That they're waterproof, they're really lightweight compared to competition, they look nice and professional, they don't come untied like my last pair of boots, they're good in all weather conditions so far (I haven't tried them in winter yet).
I don't like: The toe rubber cover at the front top tip could be stronger -- but the last pair of shoes I had had steel toe, so maybe I'm just missing that. The fit is right around a size up, depending largely on what kind of socks you have on. I've found with really think socks that the size I got is actually too big, but with just a little thicker, but still thin socks they work well.
I also have had some issues with rubbing of the part of the tongue rubbing against my upper ankle/lower shin. I think this will go away with time as I break the shoes in.
So far, so good, I would buy them again. I even tried them on in a local store after purchasing because I thought about getting a size smaller, but after trying on a 10.5 instead of a 11 (which is what I got), I'm happy I stuck with the 11.
The real question is how these will stand up to the test of time and daily wear and abuse. We'll see.

Love these boots. Lightweight, but very supportive. Totally waterproof. Very comfortable. Ordered half a size larger than my usual and they fit perfectly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by ObozHikingBoot Comfortable to Wear for Long Periods of Time
I work as a technician in Downtown Portland, meaning I have to park in parking garages and walk to my next call. I had to buy a half size larger to make sure the boot would be comfortable with wool socks. These boots have a great sole with a lot of support all the way up to the ankle. The sole of the boot is curved around the heel and toe, making it feel like you are rolling into a step. It was weird at first to get used to but now I've noticed that my step isn't as jarring. The sole has a 'shank' going down the middle that makes it very hard to twist the sole, meaning less ankle rolling. The height of the boot is great for ankle support. These boots are comfortable to wear all day in any weather. They keep my feet dry and warm, which is ideal for Maine, where the weather is never consistent.

I have only worn these boots once, for a several day hiking trip in Maine in November. They held up great to the wet (rain drenched leaves and also standing water) forrest and kept my feet warm and dry.

Rated 5 out of 5 by WoodTracker 'Four Wheel Drive' All-Terrain Boots
Just received my Oboz Bridger Mid BDry boots and let me tell you... this pair of boots is built solid like a tank but weighs so light and feels so comfortable. I did go to a LLBean store to try it out first before buying it online. Glad I did. This pair of boots ( can't say the same for the rest of the models within the Oboz brand ) RUNS HALF A SIZE SMALL. I usually take a size 10 1/2 pair of boots ( Merrell, Keen, etc ) but a size 11 on this Oboz Bridger Mid BDry. Trust me, you won't be sorry for heeding to this advice. Just go 1/2 SIZE BIGGER than what you usually wear. Other than that, think of this pair of boots as your favorite four-wheeled drive SUV to go camping, trailing, hiking, etc.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Bluebug Great build quality
Well designed with quality. Soles are great and good support for all conditions. My only beef is they do not run true to size. I had to return my original order of size 11 for a size 12 and now they fit well.
