Rated 5 out of 5 by HHurricane65 Great Jacket
Surprising how lightweight and warm this coat is. With a warmer winter than the past two years we've had a lot of wet snow falling and love the fact that this coat is water proof and has the downtek fill. My only issue I had was the jacket was sized small for the Mens XL. One review stated that they could comfortably fit a few layers on with their normal size but I would disagree. I wear a 48 jacket and had to upsize to a XXL as it was much to tight in the chest. Return was handled fast and without any issues and absolutely love this jacket!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by RobZz Not very warm
I've had this for about three years. On the plus side, as stated, it is ultralight. I guess I should have realized "ultralight" and the stated comfort levels of +25 for light activity and -25 for moderate activity did not go together. My own ratings would be more like +40 for light activity and +30 for moderate activity.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Hewbacca Very Warm but Fragile
Bought this just after Christmas and returned it about a month later. It is very very warm, I was able to wear it in 10 degree F temperatures and feel comfortable. However, it started showing small holes that the down came out through, which is why I returned it.
The material is extremely thin and fragile. It's odd because I compared it in store to the Primaloft Packaway Jacket and the material on the latter is much stronger. I wish they'd offer this jacket with that material so it would last more than a month.

Rated 2 out of 5 by GIJOE1 Shockingly lightweight
I did not realize this would be undersize . But it's a size XXL TALL but it's more like a XL Tall. I suggest you order 1 size larger . I guess that's the risk you take buying online without trying on firsthand. I will keep for a spring or fall sweater, or see if it will fit nephew. What a drag all around,

Rated 5 out of 5 by paddler1953 Wouldn't leave home without it!
I've had this jacket for over a year now and it's the best and lightest winter jacket I own. I work with a college outdoor program and this jacket follows me wherever I go on our winter trips. For me it's too warm to wear while I'm active but it's a wonderful layer to add during breaks and rest stops. It does a great job keeping the wind at bay and is also great to wear around a winter campsite. The construction is solid and other than one or two down plumes coming out (which has happened in every down garment or sleeping bag I've ever owned), I can't find anything to complain about.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Cloudland25 Poor Quality Product - Steer Clear
Warmth is adequate compared to similar jackets, however the material is incredibly thin, feels super cheap compared to most down jackets, and rips easily...and, for $200, I can easily find a jacket that doesn't tear within a few wears. If you are looking for a nice looking jacket that will only last a month before tearing, this is for you!

When I first took this item out of the package, I thought "this thing weighs nothing and no way can it keep me warm". Boy was I wrong!!!! Super comfy and super warm. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because it was a bit pricey.

Rated 3 out of 5 by treyhart212 Great if you know it's limitations
When I first got this jacket I loved it! Then I noticed 2 small holes in the back. Moving forward, I'm on my third jacket now and got reimbursed by beans excellent customer service!
The jacket I have now has no defects, but the out material is so thin/fragile that I just had a down flower poke through, not a seem, but the actual jacket. The feather stem pocked through but left such a small hole you can't see it and no other features come out of it.
I love this jacket but know its limitations, no brushing into a tree branch or a bush at that, stay away from heat, and know it's fragile.
I would buy one again especially knowing the limitations now :-)

Rated 5 out of 5 by BostonBased Great jacket but check length
As the name suggests, this jacket is ultra light, ultra warm - and comes in happy colors. It is a wonderful addition to my jacket collection. Also, the pocket zip, which is a very nice touch.
My two cautions for the potential buyer are: 1) make sure the length works for you in terms of what you will be wearing it over. It falls at high high, so a long blazer will stick out, and 2) it does not have a hood, so you have to add headgear.
