You need to find a way of putting this shirt together which doesn't involve scratchy seams. I will probably end up wearing the shirt inside-out so that it's more comfortable. Now doesn't that seem a little silly? C'mon guys, you can do better.

I wanted a basic, quick-dry t-shirt for hiking - no stylish fit or pastel colors. This was exactly what I wanted even though it's a men's. It's lightweight, nice loose fit, not too long either - and I'm 5 feet tall. I wear XS-M in women's sizes, The S fit me perfectly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by BroughtUpOnBean Great workout tee
Picked up this shirt in bright green in store and after wearing for a few weeks just ordered three more! I do not prefer "flashy" workout clothes that are common among the big activewear retailers. I want to feel comfortable going from the gym to the grocery store without feeling looking like a walking highlighter. This tee fits my needs perfectly. Classic colors, great fit, comfortable and easy care. I hope that last a while because I love them.

Rated 4 out of 5 by KennethAL Great basic workout t-shirt.
This shirt has three things going for it: It's very lightweight, dries extremely quickly, and is comfortable. The fabric does not have the same feel as cotton though, so don't expect that, but it is more comfortable than a mesh polyester shirt.
I have had mine for more than six months and haven't had any quality control issues, and it has held up to regular abuse during that time training for a Spartan Race and GORUCK Tough challenge.

I bought this for my husband in addition to other shirts because it was very nice and lightweight. He turns it inside out when he goes walking in it. The seams itch and leave marks on his back. Hopefully with a few more washes the seams will break down a bit and won't scratch him anymore. He doesn't care for this shirt and only wears it because it was expensive.

Rated 2 out of 5 by NJBean92 too short
This shirt was way too short on me. I often get a tall size, not offered on this shirt, but with a T-Shirt this should have been ok.

I found the Bean?s Trail Tee to be very comfortable. Unfortunately, I had to return mine because it was too short. If L.L. Bean would make these in a tall I?d happily purchase a few of them.

by LadyinAZ Poor stitching and quality control.
My husband loved the shirt which we bought because we are going to Iceland and he needed some easy wash- in -the hotel and quick dry shirts. The shirt was perfect except for the poor red stitching on the sleeve. Looks like thread ran out then they just re threaded their machine and sewed back and forth over the spot. Looked like a birds nest of thread. I would not usually post but the last 4 things I have received from LL Bean I have returned for poor workmanship.Where is their quality control?

Rated 2 out of 5 by JessieB Good at first, but did not hold up
The shirt shrank quite a bit when using the dryer as directed on the label, so I'd recommend air drying. Also, the stitching along the bottom came out.
