Rated 5 out of 5 by moragirl Dreamy sheets
Oh, to sink into these cool crisp sheets at the end of the day, and run my fingertips over the crochet details. What a dreamy way to drift off to sleep!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Emily2 Comfortable, feel good sheet set
The sheets are so comfortable. They feel so refreshing to sleep in. I bought this set in the natural color and I liked it so much that I ordered another set in white. They are easy to put on a pillow topped mattress and they never shrink in the dryer. If they came in other colors, I would probably buy more.
I have no regrets about this purchase.

Rated 3 out of 5 by BeanerMama Nice but noisy
These are crisp, sturdy sheets. They are noisy, however --- they make a crinkling sound which I find annoying . I hope that with many washings over time they will soften up a bit. Maybe these are how Grandma's sheets were when new? The crocheted details are nice, but ironing is needed at least along that top edge-- not something I care to do with sheets.
So --- if you don't mind noise and ironing, these are the sheets for you.

Rated 5 out of 5 Just what I have been searching for!
Just love this sheet set! Reminiscent of my mom's and special aunt's comfy cotton sheets so hard to find! My search is over! I do not like sheets that are satin-y for a better word. The crispness and minor wrinkles make them attractive to me and love slipping between them and feel substantial cotton breathable sheets. (My husband too!). I also ordered the plain Sunwashed set with same sentiment as above!

These sheets are so very pretty! However, the jury is still out on comfort. Some reviewers have stated the sheets were scratchy; I'm not sure scratchy would be the operative word. They are constructed of cotton percale, which is indeed a very crisp textile by nature. The sheets did wrinkle after washing, but that just goes with the territory. Think of any 100% cotton shirt or shorts you've ever owned and to make them look nice, they have to be ironed prior to wearing. Cotton blends usually contain polyester, which make them wrinkle less in the dryer. They're just sheets and covered up when the bed's made, so I could care less about the wrinkling. If I become that neurotic about sheets, I'll iron the pillow cases for show. My mom always had percale sheets while I was growing up and they were extremely durable...she never bought new sheets. Having said this, the sheets at home were soft, and I'm hoping these pretties will soften with laundering, as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by LoveAntiques Old-fashioned sheets
Beautiful stitching and lace; very generous sizing; crisp rather than soft; somewhat wrinkley after drying

Rated 2 out of 5 by Hampsteader Really nice fabric and feel - but way too big!
My mother bought me a set of these sheets. I really liked the feel of the fabric - soft and smooth without having that "sateen" feel which I hate. They were nice styled and looked well made, too.
Sadly the sizing makes them unusable, so I had to ship them back without even getting to sleep on them, which was a disappointment.
The fitted sheet was so big/wide it just hung there, even with the large quilted mattress topper I have on my bed. It was too big for the elastic to cling to the 15" deep (plus topper) mattress.
The flat sheet was ridiculously long, with a huge amount that would need tucking under the mattress. I had a blanket like this from Bean (that I also had to return) because there was so much to tuck in at the bottom and sides that it made the sheet so "tight" to the bed when the bed was made that it was uncomfortable for my feet and legs.
I don't understand why Bean's linens are so oddly sized these days. The stuff you find in other stores is all too skimpy and small- and these are so big you can't make the bed properly.
Really a shame as the fabric is nice. I guess if you have sewing machine you could reconstruct them to fit your bed.
