The pillowcases are not just another pretty face. They are well made and reminiscent of the old cotton summer linens without the wrinkles. I am so happy I chose these to replace my old, worn ones. I dry them on the line and then look forward to bed all day!

These lovely pillowcases are additions to my already extensive collection which includes the bed-skirt and sheet set....it's like going back to childhood to sleep between these crisp cotton sheets. We love them!!!

Truly a fine quality cotton, so fabric won't pill or be uncomfortable in warm weather, as synthetic/cotton mix does. Laundered easily and did not shrink. They look fine without ironing, though I always iron my pillow cases. These are very pretty and generously sized compared with less expensive products.

I love these. I have the sheet set and wanted the extra pillow cases for more pillows on the bed!

Just what I expected; decent weight, white cotton.
Threw them in the wash and dryer and they came out soft.
The "sunwashed" means they are softer; like pre-washed jeans.
Bought just the pillowcases for extras, as they go with almost any bedding, and we have multiple pillows on beds here.

These cotton pillow cases are a treat !
The fabric is soft , cool and refreshing on the face until your skin warms them.
I would definately buy them again although they are still new so I do not know how they will hold up after multiple washings.
From my experience with LLBean flannel sheets I expect another great product !

Rated 3 out of 5 by seriousshopper Not as nice as I expected
They are ok, but skimpy and not the quality I expected, for the price. After laundering, they did not appear like nice, luxurious, high-count cotton. Perhaps they will improve with further washings.

Very lovely pillowcases. Came out of the wash virtually wrinkle-free. I thought the pintucks and crochet would be wrinkled and scrunched up, but not so!! The fabric has a lovely feel to it. Not stiff, not flimsy. Very pleased, and am planning to buy a complete set of sheets now. How nice to be able to "sample" the product like this before making a larger, more expensive purchase! Oh, also, it's a nice, full-sized case: a few inches of fabric hang at the end of the pillow, unlike so many other "standard" cases, which barely cover the pillow.

I almost didn't order these sheets because of the thread count. Was told higher is better. They are fabulous. Love the detail on them. Just cant find sheets like this today. Going to order another set if they ever go on sale.

I purchased these pillowcases in the cream color, to coordinate with the Botanical Floral percale sheet set. There are four pillows on the bed, and I wanted something to complement the floral pattern, but not exactly match, and these are perfect. At least one reviewer has noted that the cream color is really more of a yellow, but that has not been my perception. The cream is just what I think of when I think of cream - an old-timey rich off-white - and it is very similar to the background color of the Botanical Floral sheets, which I do not see as yellow at all. It may be a fraction of a shade darker than those sheets, but even when the cream pillowcases are right next to the floral pillowcases, you'd be hard-pressed to see a difference.
These pillowcases are well-made, with substantial percale fabric, and are a slight bit softer than the Botanical Floral sheets. I have tried to determine whether the fabric is actually thinner, but I don't think it is. I think it is just finished in a different way, so while it still has that cool crisp percale feel, it does not have the "crumpled paper" sound some are complaining about with the Botanical Floral sheets. (In my experience the Botanical Floral sheets will break in just fine.)
The pintuck and lace edging is beautiful, with no stray threads and snagging as I would expect to see in a similar product made by another company. It is not as feminine as one might think and is really rather versatile. I am planning to buy the whole sheet set in the cream color because I'm so impressed by the quality and appearance.
It should be noted that, as one might expect, such a light color is a bit transparent. If you have a pillow with a pattern (for instance, ticking stripe) the pattern will likely show through the pillowcase. We even have a white synthetic cover over a patterned pillow, with the pintuck pillowcase on top of that, and the pattern shows through slightly. This is not really a big deal and if I had to choose, I would buy a new white pillow and keep these pillowcases.
I haven't had trouble with extreme wrinkling - if removed from the dryer promptly, there is slight rippling, which I think is fine, and which can be eliminated quickly with an iron. The lace comes out of the wash no worse for wear.
Note - in standard size, these are 21"x 31". Even after being washed and dried they were noticeably bigger than my old standard pillowcases. It turns out they are about 2" longer and maybe 1.5" wider, which means no more wrestling the cases onto thick pillows. There is actually excess on thinner pillows.
