This is a well made quality sweater. Finally, there is a sweater in a shorter length - which is so hard to find. I have purchased this sweater in four different colors. Usually I wear it with a matching mock turtleneck, but works ok with just a t-shirt. It's warm, comfortable, and of the highest quality. Washes well.

Very plain, pale, gray, short sweater. Disappointing.
"Aqua Teal" is a lovely summer color...also, too short for me.[5'8"]

Rated 4 out of 5 by Consumerista Nice, but boxy
Have been very happy with the last few cardigans I've ordered, but this one, not so much. The reason is the length, which seems disproportionately short; I'd describe it as high-hip rather than hip-length. I'm 5'4" and a size 6, and although the body of this sweater in size small is actually a bit roomier than the last few sweaters I've received, the shortish length makes it seem boxy. A longer length would have been more flattering. Very nice quality, but disappointing proportions.

I ordered the gray heather zippered sweater in Petite size Large. I'm short, but I need the large size because of my chest. I like the shortness of the sweater because I am short, but I was VERY surprised at the length of the sleeves. They were long for a petite size. (I even checked the label to be sure they sent a petite size. ) I've NEVER had this before from LL Bean; and I order quite a lot petite sized clothing from them. This sweater is thicker than I thought, but it's ok. It would be more ok if I didn't have this bulk at the end of my arms - having to roll up the sleeves. I'm not sure yet if I'm going to send it back. I am a little disappointed.

Totally disappointed in this purchase. Wish I would've read all the reviews. This sweater fits right at the waist, right at the top of my jeans, almost like a crop top. Not at all what I was looking for. Unfortunately I will be returning both of the sweaters I purchased.

I got this in a petite. The sweater seems close fitting and cropped. I also think for the overall scale of the sweater the cables are too large. Be careful of the colors too. I got a rose and I should have thought about that more. Sometimes the non-neutral colors are not what you bargained for when they arrive from UPS.

I ordered size small. Fits perfect. I'm small framed 108 lbs. Washed it once inside out gentle cycle. Did not put it in dryer. Laid flat to dry, on sweater drying rack. Did not shrink. Only problem I have with this sweater. It's to warm out to wear right now!!

I got the pink hydrangea, I love the color and the texture of the fabric, exactly what I was looking for. I hate air conditioning but I work in an office at an insurance company, so there is nothing I can do about it. That said the fine gauge cardigans do me no good. I love the color and the fabric so much that I kept it, but I find the fit to be boxy, and it's too short, wearable, but shorter than what I normally like. I am 5'3" and 118 pounds, I have narrow shoulders and I am a 34C, for the ideal fit an XS tall might be my right size. I got a regular S.I also got the double L botton front and that one is a little bit longer and I like it better...however the color selection is so limited

This is my first venture into buying one of the zip cardigan LLB cable sweaters- I purchased the neutral striped version. This sweater is very different from light weight fine gauge button supima cardigans I am used to and is definitely not for the feint of heart- it is a very substantial thick sweater. It is heavier than I expected and looks like it will last a lifetime. I live in SoCal so this will be used in the fall and winter- it is too much sweater for half of the year here. I bought it with a summer holiday promotion and limited quantities in my size. I did not want to risk them selling out so I took the leap.
All in all, a great purchase- will keep an eye out for different colors and patterns in the future.

I love front-zip sweaters because they can go through the seasons easily. This one is a soft cotton, the kind that gets better with age and wear. During our Canadian falls and winters, it's very cold outside, but in office buildings, malls, etc. the heat is turned up high. A sweater that can be put on and taken off easily is ideal. This sweater offers that kind of flxibility and looks great with its not-too-tall collar. I bought red for a pop of winter color.
