Favorite shirt on my Alaska trip. Fit and washed well. Will buy the other colors. Thanks LL Bean.

I sit here typing this while wearing my soft top. Still soft after washing, but LL Bean: WHY IS THE TAG SO LONG AND IRRITATING? In the 21st century, isn't there a way to go tagless? I had to partially cut it off (lest I open a seam) and now have a smaller, irritating thing poking at my insides. Please, please, figure out a way to stamp your clothing instead of tagging us to death.

Rated 5 out of 5 by March9 Cozy and light
I bought 2 of these on sale, as I needed some warm tops to wear around the house, didn't expect such a cozy, soft, and comfy shirt. I am a muscular, busty, mature woman and finding tops that fit and look good is a challenge. I bought my normal size, large and it fits like a dream. I am going to buy more. Wish they came in more colors!

After my disappointing experience with the hiking boots that were delivered to me, I thought that I had better make sure that my Heat Keepers top was the right size. So I tried it on and honestly, I didn't want to take it off. Went back and read all of the reviews on this item. This is what I learned: you have to go by your best guess and trust the LL Bean return system if things don't work. I am 5' 4", 117 lbs and according to the size chart, I should have ordered a small. But I always wear medium. The reviewers say the sleeves are too long, but these are just fine. See what I mean? In any case, this is a winner and I am glad I bought it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Kayzie Neckline is too high for most tops
I really need long underwear that I can wear under my very modest scoop neck, v-neck and crew neck tops without having to constantly tug it out of sight and always worry that it is showing.
Also, the sleeves are too long.
Other than those 2 complaints I like the item and would rave about it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by sweatersavvy Good warm undershirt
This undershirt is as good as silk, just as warm, but is cheaper and easier to care for. I am 5'7", 147 lbs. and take a large. I've ordered another one!

Rated 5 out of 5 by mrdsquan great shirt
This shirt is so comfortable and doesn't look like thermal wear. I love wearing it alone or under a cardigan. It is very soft.

Rated 2 out of 5 by TallTall Soft comfortable fabric but poor fit
I ordered a top and bottom. They are very soft and warm. No doubt they would be comfortable as pajamas. However, the pants have a wide baggy fit with a normal size waist. The top is wide through the body. They are too baggy for anyone who wants a close, slim fit. I think they were true to size---just cut to be loose.
The neck is a scoop neck, larger and lower cut than a crew neck.

I let myself be convinced that I needed a larger size than what I would normally have bought, but still... This fabric stretches with wear: both sleeves and body are very long and wide and rather shapeless, and this causes folds to form. The neckline is very low and barely hide my bra. Fortunately, the fabric is very thin and it is not too uncomfortable under loose clothing, but it doesn't actually keep me very warm whenever I sit still for a while.

This is a wonderful item ... it is soft and keeps me warm in the Michigan winters. If it peeks out from under a sweater, the ivory color looks exactly like a tee! I am 5'0" and 135 lbs. I bought the Small and the fit is exactly right. But, come on, LLB, where's the petite sizing on these? The arms are long and had to be folded up and the hem comes to the top of my thighs. Because I just wear this under things around the house, that's fine, but would be not great for wearing out, having to tuck more stuff into my jeans, etc. Have been shopping at LLB since before the internet! Although much has improved about offering petite sizing, there are still so many things that are not offered that I would purchase if that were the case. As for this item, I have already recommended it to many people, with the caveat that for a shorty like me, adjustments have to be made.
