Rated 3 out of 5áby MsAP Nice jacket but not warm enough for me
I really, really wanted to love this jacket. It is very well made and I like the idea of the versatility of 3 jackets in 1 so I could use it here in the south but also up north. But I wore this in mid-40s to low-50s weather and was simply cold. I gave it a few chances. Just to make sure I wasn't cold for other reasons, I tried on my old puffy down jacket in each situation for comparison, and was warm. The Primaloft just isn't as warm as real down. Now, that said, I am a very cold-natured person. People who don't need a super-warm jacket will like this jacket, but I know it won't see me through winter and so I'm afraid it's going back.
For sizing - I am 5'9, 135 lb and ordered a small because I know LL Bean runs big. It was plenty big enough and even a little long on the arms.

Since I purchased this coat there has only been a handful of days I needed to wear it. Walking the dog in 25 degrees with a cold brisk wind was no problem with this coat on. It's a perfect length, coming to just the bottom of my hips. It doesn't restrict leg movement so it will be perfect for cross country skiing. The collar zips up to my chin and keeps the wind out. The shell is both waterproof and windproof. So far I have found this coat both warm and comfortable.

Rated 5 out of 5áby Rudy922 Great little jacket
Bought this for my daughter attending high school. She wanted something that she could use in different temperatures because she hates to "over-dress" on days with her friends.
The shell can be wore separately from the inner liner, or vice-versa or together. Winter is coming and I will have a better idea how well this jacket works, but it is rated for -30 degrees, and if the older jackets from LL Bean are any indication - this jacket will be used through to late Spring with no issues. Well worth the money.

Rated 5 out of 5áby Patty478 Light Weight, Warm
Though I did just receive this coat I have been very impressed. I was so surprised to find out how light weight this coat is. The only down fall to the inner jacket of this coat is that it is a little short in the sleeves, however this is a common issue with all my winter coats that I have purchased. I would definitely recommend this coat to someone

Rated 5 out of 5áby cdw1 Warm and comfortable!
I have not had the occasion to wear this coat in the rain yet, but so far I love the coat, both the shell and the zip out jacket are wonderful. Unlike many 3 in 1 coats, this one is light and does not have that bulky feeling. The zip out portion is very warm with and without the shell. I love the warmth, comfort and color (I have the dark fuchsia) of this jacket and can't wait to wear it as it gets colder outside.

This will be my second year using this jacket. It stands up to wicked upstate NY winters. I hike, geocache, sled, snow shoe and use it as my work coat too.. Its stylish looking but the warmth it not compromised. I like the inner layer for fall. Then once I start to give in and freeze and add the shell once it gets colder. It fits well I have the xsmall I am 5' 2" 130 I wear a few layers under it with no issue and a hoodie or sweater also fit good. The ventilation is good too for snow sports etc. I also like all the pockets. Enjoy!!

Rated 2 out of 5áby Nanciblue Zipper seam sticks outward
Unsure if this is due to my shorter stature: the front zipper seam sticks outward making me look pregnant. The zipper seam is indeed more stiff and heavier than the softer fabric of the coat - prompting this puckering. If it wasn't for this, I would have kept it.
