Rated 4 out of 5 by lovethebirds Lovely top if the style suits
I was so pleased when I received my order, the knit is lovely, super soft and thick and I love the dark cranberry/cream color. I was so upset when I tried it on and found that the neckline just doesn't work for me because of my neck and bone structure. I knew that I would never feel comfortable wearing it so very reluctantly I will be returning it. If only LLB offered this stripe knit in a standard crew neck top - anyone listening LLB?

Great looking shirt - just doesn't fit right. I'd say more than "slightly fitted". Ordered my usual LLBean size and this just doesn't cut it. Square cut neck is too wide to conceal bra straps as well. A definite "miss" on this one.

I'm giving this 5 stars because this shirt is high quality and I love the style of the shoulders. I'm usually a size 6/8 and ordered a Medium, which fits very well in my shoulders, arms, and bust, but is otherwise very boxy. I will have to take it in a couple inches on each side near my waist.

I purchased the blue top first and loved it. It was perfect so I ordered 2 more, oatmeal and peony. The peony was on backorder, but oatmeal came 2 days ago. It fits NOTHING like the blue one. My bra straps show. I tried it on with 3 different bras and they showed with all 3, so I lined the 2 up and sure enough, the shoulder inserts on the oatmeal are sewn a half inch further toward outside than they are on the blue. I have cacelled the backorder on the peony. I am getting very tired of paying return postage due to lack of quality control on the part of llbean. If they don't fix the problem they are going to lose a good customer

The bright plum heather color is very pretty. I will keep this tee shirt, but will not order additional colors because my bra straps show. Ladies with broader shoulders than mine may not encounter this problem. I tried to avoid the problem by ordering the petite small rather than my usual regular small. My solution did not work. Too bad!

I needed a slightly dressier Tee, so ordered this in my usual size -- which is intended to fit generously since I hate tight shirts, and hey -- if there's a little shrinkage, I should still be OK. Not this shirt. It was oddly tight across the top of the shirt right out of the bag. Seemed more like a design/cut issue than overall size. Gave it away to charity.

I was so pleased upon receiving this. The neck is interesting but modest, and I had no problem with undergarments showing. The fabric is thick and good quality, and I know it will stand up to many washes.
I wish you would offer this in more colors, and in an option with shorter sleeves. I love the gray heather but would like to see more basic, non-heathered colors like navy.

I got this top in a petite medium in the oatmeal heather which was not the color I wanted. However, the color I wanted was the red heather, which it turns out, only comes in the size medium. The catalog does not specify which colors come in which sizes. The catalog portrays that all colors come in ALL SIZES. WRONG. The misses size does have all colors which are 12. The petite and women's sizes only have 7 colors. VERY MISLEADING. I liked the top so I got a color I didn't want. The petite medium fits good (5'3"). However, I feel I'm being deprived of having a choice of colors by being petite!!!!
