Rated 4 out of 5 by Eventide Wildcat boots... sadly returned.
I bought these for my young adult son. He really liked the look and style of these boots and thought they might fit him, but he has a wider than average foot and these boots were just a little too tight, so had to be returned. Very nice boots, though. They felt rugged and well insulated, just not quite the right fit for my son. Now the search is on for a boot in 11 EE. My whole family loves LLBean footwear, but there aren't many choices for someone with a wide foot. I find, as a woman with wide feet, that I can do well wearing men's shoes and boots to get the width I need, but the men haven't that option.

Boots are very comfortable and keep feet warm and dry.Like how light they are, also made very durable.

I got these boots for my 12 year old. His shoe size is a nine. This boot was a little big for him and heavier then the hiker I got for my other son. It is warm and keep him dry. Will keep he will grow into it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Chagrin1 Excellent pair of winter boots
I purchased a pair of these 2 winters ago. I am an avid snowmobiler and I am out riding the trails and fields for 8 to 10 hours.. Stopping intermittently, I never got cold and socks stayed dry. They are so good my son who rides with me wants a pair as well. I highly recommend if you are in the snow and outdoors.

Rated 3 out of 5 by dbisa621 Expected better from LLBEAN
Had these for about a year, first time in the snow the black rubber around the toe started peeling off, now the eyelets are breaking off, they run small and narrow, disappointed with the quality, thought LLBEAN would have been better quality

These are great looking, very comfortable, warm boots. No problem with the lace eyelets. This was a concern based on previous reviews; now I'm glad I didn't let them deter me from trying these boots. The boots are still new, so maybe a problem will emerge later. But, I'm still using my original Maine hunting boots that are 30 years old! I also still use the first lined version, that are probably 25 years old. In other words, I have had great luck or experience (call it what you will) with Bean boots. These new boots promise a continuation of that experience. Since we have a lot of ice to contend with, I bought Stabilicers to go with the boots and I am very impressed with them. All in all, I'm very happy with the boots and see no indication that my satisfaction level will change. (If it does, I'm sure Bean will stand behind its product.)

This is my second pair that I've ordered, keeping one pair at home and another for the vacation house. They're supportive, comfortable and warm with mid-weight socks.
On this order though, one of the lace eyelets pulled out of the boot the first day I wore them. LLB had me a new pair in 2 days without question.

Rated 5 out of 5 by trailwoman Great for winter riding
I tried a few winter boots for trail riding with my horse. I needed a narrow enough foot for stirrups but I had to keep my feet warm. I have had these for a couple of years now and they are great. I have been out for a couple of hours and my toes have stayed toasty.

Rated 5 out of 5 by MyLLBeanBoston Great fit, durable
My husband loves the new Wildcat boots. Having had 2 prior models this one is a big improvement because the continuous seam that used to be between the sidewall top and bottom of the boot has been eliminated, no longer in a vulnerable spot to open up and allow moisture in. They are very comfortable and offer great support.

Rated 3 out of 5 by SKIWUDS Too small
The boots would be great if true to sizing. Lug sole and styling are excellent, but not true to size. My foot measure 12, but a 13 is too short. A boot should be a touch long, not short, for possible thicker socks as the laces hold he foot into the heel pocket.
