Rated 4 out of 5 by BlackLabDesign Fit exactly what I needed for Michigan Winters
Living in Michigan, its no surprise that at SOME POINT you are going to have to deal with VERY COLD (zero & below) temps and VERY HIGH amounts of snow. Usually the LLBean hightop duckboots are the way to go, but for quick trips out or in my case, driving to work with a manual transmission - my duckboots come off kind of clunky.
Enter the slip-on storm chasers, or "Sneaker Boots" as I like to call them. At first I thought they would be too clunky, but wearing them out in the elements I feel they are just big enough to knock off snow & deal with the sub-freezing temps (-- and they do!) but small enough for me to shift gears and not feel like I'm wearing clown shoes. Also -- These hybrid boots are CRAZY warm, and were surprisingly well fit for slip ons.
They are comfortable to wear around the yard, getting the mail, or just running errands. LLBean's quality control is top notch - great build & assembly and I wouldnt be surprised if these lasted me at least 8-10 seasons (my duck boots are 18 years old and still work GREAT!!) -- take this into account when contemplating their price break -- quality is NOT cheap, nor should it be, but $10 a winter for 10 winters is a fair rationalization.
I never had any fit problems - I wear a size 9 and it fit great with regular athletic socks. There is a little bit of play when you first wear them, but it seems to form fit to your foot the more you wear them.
In conclusion I feel these are a GREAT product that will last me for years. as usual, nice job LL Bean.

Rated 5 out of 5 by johnth Completely Satisfied
I'm a real estate appraiser in western Washington state. Fall and winter months are more than a little soggy. This shoe keeps my feet warm and dry and the slip on feature is convenient for removal when accessing the interior of homes. Highly recommended.

Bought to replace past LL Bean lace up snow shoes. These shoes run a little narrow and my heel slips. Since these are slip on's you have a 50/50 chance for a good fit.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Midwesternreview Great style, practical, but run very small
Ordered a 10.5 as all my boots and shoes run this size and fit nice. Had to return these boots due to toes pushing against front of boot. I returned/shipped back and reordered size 11 hoping they would not be too big. Just received and not much difference than the 10.5. My toes still push up against the front of the boot and not comfortable at all...... I have never had this before. I am skeptical in going with an 11.5 After reading other reviews, a couple reviews said the boots run small and others said they run larger. I don't quite get this.....so not sure if I am simply returning them all together or go with 11.5.( I had standard white cotton sock)

Rated 5 out of 5 by brightboy Perfect for winter walks on the beach
I've had these slip-on boots for three months now. I originally bought them exclusively for rainy, damp or snowy days. However, I now find them suitable for every day boots - rain, snow OR shine. They stay warm, fit well and stay dry after walking through the deepest puddles. Not the best for hiking or long walks but perfect for short stints i.e.drives to the grocery, post office or outdoor chores, the footwear you'll utilize when too lazy to put on those heavy tie-ups. Most likely, these Storm Chasers will the ol' reliables that will find their home sitting right next to the back door.

Rated 4 out of 5 by tominco Nice shoe, too bad it's not available in wide.
I've been looking for a handy slip-on boot/shoe for snowy weather for years and thought I found it with this shoe. It's a very nice shoe, not too heavy, and I think it would be comfortable, if only it came in a wide width. After reading some reviews, I thought I could get away with the standard width, but alas, the shoe is significantly too narrow, with just normal athletic socks on. Too bad.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Ihatetoshop6789 Great shoe, but limited room for thick socks
These shoes are great looking, well made and super comfortable. A modern update of the classic "Bean Boot", but with a high-tech sole. The fit is fine for me, but be warned that there is not much room for thick winter socks. Probably order a half-size up for colder climes.
I like them so much I have ordered the clog version, as well!

Rated 3 out of 5 by Checkerboard Very Stylish
These are very good looking shoes. However, several reviews stated that there is some slippage in the heel. I found this to be a problem for me, even with mid weight socks. The sole is rigid and has no flex, so I was concerned about blisters and/or water slipping in the heel. The toe fit comfortable. I wear a 10 1/2 medium. Sadly, I had to return these shoes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by OKColonel Warm, well made and great looks
I bought these to walk my dog when the ground is wet or snowy. I am impressed with the nice fit, thinsulate liner that keeps your feet dry and warm and how well made these are! Well worth the purchase.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Y0da They slipped on but I was afraid they'd slip off..
I received these for Christmas in a 7.5 medium width. I tried wearing them with some thick socks but could not prevent the back from sliding up and down. Subsequently I returned them to the local store and tried a size 7. They were to snug with a thick sock and with a regular sock they slipped just like the 7.5. Because of this i felt as though they'd fall off randomly OR i'd just trip and fall.
