Rated 4 out of 5 by ArizonaSnoopy Excellent update to a classic
I love this refined update to the classic bean boot shoe! I actually bought the classic first, but found it didn't fit (too wide in the heel). I am returning those but meanwhile came across this model, and took a leap of faith, guesstimated I should buy one-half size small (versus the full size smaller recommended for the classic). The new shoes arrived today and they are a legit, perfect fit. I would award 5 stars if the tension band across the top of the foot was adjustable (it's not). But this was a great buy, especially because I was so disappointed when the classic shoe didn't work out. The style is refined and I plan to wear these at work (hospital, on my feet the whole time). Take advantage of the sale, ladies, you won't regret it.

I really like the Bar Harbor Rain Shoe, I find it adorable and goes especially well with jeans and definitely keeps your feet dry. I do not find these to be "clunky" at all. The fit runs a little wide which is great for me as I have wide feet. I wear an 8 wide and purchased the size 8 as they don't come in a wide size. They fit comfortable even with a gold toe medium to heavy knee high sock. I would definitely recommend these rain shoes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by orshopper2 Very waterproof
These are great for rain and mud, keep feet dry and warm, but keep in mind that they are like short boots, very heavy and sized to wear with heavy socks without going up in size. I got a size larger than my usual thinking I'd need it for double pairs of socks and I clump around in them, uncomfortable for street wear.

I wanted to love these because they're so "darn cute". Unfortunately they do not come in wide. I ordered 6 1/2 and 7 (my size) but neither fit my high instep. They were so painful, I only kept them on for a few seconds. I wish all of the shoes came in wide widths.

Rated 4 out of 5 by NCshopperGirl Nice, but...
These would be cute and practical shoes for seriously rainy days... if only they would fit. But, they are too short and tight without socks and could never be worn with socks that are appropriate for a cold, rainy day. Hopefully ordering up in sizing will work.

Rated 4 out of 5 by doubledees Great alternative to the LL Bean Moc
I had to return the LL Bean Moc because of the heel design. I was looking for a waterproof slip on shoe. This is the perfect alternative to the Bean Moc. The size runs true. It fits with a mid-weight or heavier sock. It is very comfortable & stylish!!

Relocated from NH to coastal NC . Realizing I needed a good rain shoe I went to my favorite source on line LLBean. I was delighted with the fit, support and style. Navy with a flash of red makes these appropriate for wear in the most military friendly state in the USA. QUALITY IS FABULOUS.

This is a good quality shoe and good for walking in the rain [but not splashing in the puddles]. The material is harder than expected which would make it more difficult for walking any distance in this shoe. I got them to wear for a trip to the store when it is raining and they are great for that purpose. The fit seems to run a little wide but not too much so.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Happy25y Run half size large
I wanted to love these shoes and I do! I took the advice of customer service and ordered the blue in my regular size 8 1/2. But I should have listened to the many reviewers who claim these shoes run big. I agree. Had to exchange for an 8 which fit fine! These shoes are pretty, not clunky as some other brands of rain shoes can be. I recommend them, but beware the sizing!
