Rated 4 out of 5áby QuietMotion Purchased for snowshoeing
I purchased the Wildcat Pro to replace my Wildcats; which are great boots. I had them for about 4 yrs and passed them on to my daughter. My feet are the first thing to get cold when snowshoeing so I thought it was time for new boots. I would not recommend taking to the woods without breaking these boots in. I had a problem with the boot pressing against my shin. I find the best way to break in new boots is to wear them around town. One day of driving and walking around always does the trick. The Pro's are super comfortable now. The weather has not been very cold but my feeling is these boots will be fine in -0 temps. My one complaint is the Wildcat Pro does not have the D-ring for attaching Gators. The Wildcat does. I am having a problem with my Gators staying attached to the shoelace. That is why I gave the boot a rating of 4 stars instead of 5. If you are debating about purchasing these boots I would say "go for it".

After eighteen years this was the year to replace my last L.L. Bean winter boots. With fear and trembling I ordered another brand of lightweight boots for well below zero weather and narrow feet. The day they arrived I returned them and ordered L.L. Bean's Women's Wildcat Boots, Pro. They arrived days sooner than I expected (was promised) and I've hardly had them off my feet since. The temps have been at and well below zero, and my feet have been warm and comfortable. I ordered a half size up and wear two pairs of wool socks in them. The heels stay in place when I walk, and I can move my toes. I'm set for another eighteen years. Thank you again, L.L.Bean!

I've been looking for a pair of sturdy boots to replace my LLBean Snowmass style boots (which I always felt were too "squishy"). The Wildcat boots are comfortable, true-to-size for me (8), waterproof, and warm. After searching for over a year, I'm glad I found these!

This is a good lightweight boot for outdoor winter activities. Warm enough so far but has not yet been bitterly cold. I wear a size 8 shoe and got a size 9 boot to fit 2 pairs of socks which is working fine. Would recommend to those spending good amounts of time outdoors.

I have been looking for a pair of boots like this for some time--something that would actually keep me warm and dry in the dead of winter, and these boots fit the bill perfectly. Sometimes I think no one believes that woman go out in the cold too--thanks for a pair of women's boots that are constructed as well as men's!

I have worn these boots a handful of times since I received them. It's only been a week, but being fall in Michigan they've seen a good variety of weather already. I need something comfortable, supportive, warm and dry for long walks and running errands in deep snow and slush, playing with my young kids in the snow, and standing around at the dog park in freezing weather. I wore one hundred dollar Bogs for these activities last year, and ended up with plantar fascitis and broken Bogs. I know LL Bean has a reputation for long lasting quality, and has a great return policy, so I decided to take a chance and invest more than usual in a pair of really good boots.
The boots are great. Good on ice and in snow (we've had about 8 inches so far). Laces are easily adjustable and stay tied. Good toe room for walking. Warm, dry, and comfortable despite their size (in the way of hiking boots or work boots- these will not feel like a sneaker or even a typical winter boot), though perhaps a bit clunky and possibly too warm for my long walks. They seem very well-made and sturdy.
My issue is mostly with their appearance. I made a concession for the utilitarian style in the name of function, but I was under the impression that the boot's upper was made entirely of leather, like a pair of hiking boots. The tan part nearest the sole is actually tan rubber. It matches the leather but still looks dowdy, in my opinion. Is it too much to ask for sensible boots that are also stylish? At this price, I really need to love my boots. I'm still looking around.

Rated 5 out of 5áby beethovengirl Great winter boots!
I love these boots. They are very comfortable, roomy, and toasty warm! I read a lot about them first, including a lot of reviews. I also spoke with customer service to ask about sizing. Normally I wear between a 6 and a 6.5 but I got these boots in a 7. I was concerned they'd be too big but with heavier socks as they suggest, they are fabulous. Some also commented that they thought the boots were too stiff. I find it extremely easy to put my feet into them and the height is not stiff at all. I find it to be supportive and surprisingly light and flexible. I feel very confident that my feet will be dry and warm this whole winter because of these boots.

Rated 5 out of 5áby motorcyclegramma At last ~ a warmer WildCat boot for us ladies!
I have worn Wildcat boots for many years and prefer the lace-up for a more secure fit. When these first came out, I ordered them right away. I hadn't actually used them as it has been so warm here in Montana, that is, until the recent arctic blast, I am so glad I had them on hand..
I spend countless hours outside feeding and taking care of our animals and am very happy with the warmth factor of these Wildcat Pro boots. In extreme temperatures, I found the regular style worked most of the time, but not warm enough for me when very cold (sub zero).
There was a small window of break-in time at the top of the boot for me, but I really appreciate the extra height. Other than that, they were very comfortable from the get-go.. The toe box is less bulky than my old size 6 WC boots, I usually wear a 6 1/2, but can get by with a 6 in these..
Thank you LLBean for this warmer boot ~ I love it..

Rated 5 out of 5áby BigtimeLLBeanfan A great pair of boots for winter
I spent a lot of time looking for winter boots, as my old pair needed to be replaced. Traction and warmth were prime factors. I think I found what I was looking for! Upstate New York winters are harsh and require quality footwear that you can depend on. This is my first winter with them and so far, I am very satisfied.

Rated 5 out of 5áby FarmerPJ Very comfortable boot
I purchased these boots in November for working in the snow, snow shoeing and snow blowing. I already used them with an unexpected 12" snow storm this month. I found them comfortable and warm. I was worried that I would have to break them in but was pleased to find that they were comfortable from the get go. I look forward to having dry warm comfy feet as I work and play in the snow.
