I love this jacket, very light weight & comfortable. I am 5'3" 115lbs & ordered the XXS, was a little worried that it would be too tight, (it is nicely fitted-just like on the model), great stretch in the fabric so it does not constrict at all, I can even wear a light sweater underneath if required but I intend to wear this jacket in warmer weather with just a T shirt or over my scrubs. Like the fact it has a zip off hood, perfect for the changeable spring climate & I also like the fish tail back hem, very stylish but practical also as it will be good for riding my bike. (I ordered the green)

My 15 year old rain jacket was stained and kind of boxy looking. I liked the look of this jacket and couldn't be more pleased with it. Water beads up on it so I stay dry even in downpours. The longer back length is practical if I need to work outdoors in rain, and it makes the silhouette more flattering. The jacket has a fitted look, but I can wear it over a fleece or sweater in cooler weather. I've had many compliments on this jacket. The one downside is that the fabric is crisp and comes to little points in the collar that can irritate my neck if I'm just wearing a t-shirt.

I have been looking for months for a rain jacket I could use for travel. Wanted something that didn't feel like I was wearing a tarp or confined in plastic.I looked for months in the numerous outdoor stores available here in the Pacific NW and couldn't find one that fit right. I have an hourglass figure and most coats I tried were too baggy in the middle and way too tight around the chest. This coat is allows room around the chest and hips while cinching at the waistline. It is longer so covers your backside and has a little breathable stretch to it too. Just what I was looking for!

Rated 5 out of 5 by ella9 Just what I needed
This is a very lightweight, flexible jacket that doesn't have that crinkly feel (and sound) that many water resistant jackets have. It is soft. It is also very flattering on, due to the self-cinching waist. The two way zipper is a big plus also. I can't say enough good things about this jacket. I haven't worn it out in a rainstorm so I don't know how it performs in the rain, but that's not what I bought it for. It's for in between days when you don't need a heavy jacket but need something to keep the chill off. It's hard to find a figure flattering jacket like this that is so versatile.

Comfortable, easy to wear, pockets are nice, love the waist cinch, easy to layer under as it is lightweight. As advertised, is water resistant, not waterproof, in a light but steady rain I got wet through the yolk area.

This jacket is everything it was advertised to be! Perfect for Spring, and cool Summer days, plus Fall. The fit is great, with just enough stretch in the material. I'm very happy with it, and with the LL Bean delivery service ~ fantastic.

Rated 5 out of 5 by HawaiiWalker Exactly what I have been looking for
Thank you for finally offering XXS sizes for us petite women!! I'm 5'0 and weigh about 118 lbs and the jacket fits perfectly. It is very light and doesn't provide much/any warmth in 40-50 degree windy weather but it's well-made and--finally--the cut is very flattering and just form-fitting enough. There is ample room in the armpits and the fabric is nice and stretchy. The only strange thing is that the two inner pockets are different sizes. On the left side, I can fit my hand in the pocket whereas on the right side it's about 1" narrower at the opening. Maybe it's designed for sunglasses? Why not just make them the same size? (this was true of both colors I ordered so it's a design thing...). But that's a small enough thing for a piece that is, overall, perfect as a cover-up in milder weather or for hiking in cooler weather. While both colors are nice, I kept the Alloy Gray. I would definitely get another Luna Jacket if it were offered in lighter colors to match the light fabric: off-white, khaki, chartreuse....

At 5'8" and 160#, I wasn't sure whether the Large would fit, but it did--perfectly! Great light jacket, gives just enough protection from wind for cool spring weather. (This is not a winter jacket.) I bought the Alloy Gray color and would buy a second one if there were more color options than just two (gray and basil green). I've worn it in a rain shower and stayed nice and dry (the description says water resistant, not water proof, so this isn't technically a raincoat either. I love the fit, love the longer length in back (covers your bottom) and two-way zipper. If more colors come (spring-like maybe?) I'll definitely buy more!

I was looking for a light jacket for an upcoming trip to Europe and had a laundry list of features I wanted. First, and the hardest to find, I wanted something at least water resistant so that I wouldn't have to walk around in a poncho on rainy days or bring a separate rain jacket. I was looking for a military/anorak style in green and wanted a hood, fishtail hem, sleeves that could roll up and the ability to cinch in the waist for a flattering fit. This jacket has everything I was looking for and it's a lot more stylish than (I have to be honest) I was expecting from L.L Bean! The material doesn't look or feel at all plastic-y the way some waterproof material can. I've already gotten compliments on it and I will recommend this jacket to everyone!

I love this new rain jacket! Fits perfectly ( I got the medium) and appreciate the stretchy light weight fabric. The color is a nice storm gray and love the violet trim. I would recommend this jacket for anyone who wants a light rain coat. I will appreciate it even more when I have to walk the dogs!
