I agree that the colors are really cute, but this pullover is way too long for me (I am 5'5). It also stretches after the first wear.

I was so excited to get the heathered version of this sweater - the color (spruce) was exquisite, the shape was exactly what I wanted - slightly boxy, full and comfy.
But 5 minutes out of the bag and it had pulls. My cat, a pencil, even a door hinge I got too close to - all pulled out the loose threads. Within days, I realized I could never wear it out of the house. I should have returned it, but I'm not a shopper, and generally Bean doesn't disappoint. I love the color and fit, so it's my weekend lounging sweatshirt. But I'll never buy another.

the color on the shirt is amazing.Sea Rose..the color of a gulf beach sunset or the color of a Sea Horse or color of Coral from the deep sea so refreshing..the fit is good and the material is nice too. This is a color that will not bore you and you will have for years to come the style too.

I think LLBean missed the mark on this top. The fabric and colors are absolutely gorgeous, but the styling is frumpy. I'm always a M in LLBean but found this to run small enough that I would have sized up if I had decided it would work for me. It's more of a sweatshirt, but without traditional sweatshirt styling. It has a longer length and is trim through the hips/thighs, but then larger underneath the arms. Just not a flattering style on me at all. I'm a very modest pear-shape. This material would make a great zip-up as long as they finished the lower edge much more nicely and got rid of the unnecessary arm tabs.

It's hard to tell what a color a top is going to be--based on a small swatch that is meant to represent the color and texture on my computer screen. (yes, I know they are all different). Another clue about what the color could resemble is described in the name of the color.
In my case, it was "Sea Rose Heather." I was expecting something along the lines of a mix of separate light and dark colors with a soft heathery effect--not a solid color. I have grown to understand the meaning that Bean has assigned to heathery fabrics is a subtle melding of darker threads and lighter threads reflecting the overall effect. So to get this point across, Bean's photos of this top as being "heathered" are right on the money.
The problem was the actual color. "Sea Rose Heather" seems like a long way from the "typical rose" color, which is what "Sea Rose Heather" is NOT. Usually, "rose" suggest some kind of pink tone having various shades of very light to very dark rose pink. In this case, this cute top is an awful screaming orange, not at all close to the traditional color of rose, meaning (to me) perhaps a light to medium pink. I frankly don't know why "sea" is the color is part of the name,. There is no suggestion of any sort of a sea color, and if there is really such a thing as a "sea rose," please educate me and I will take my whole comment back, and feel appropriately sheepish.
All I am trying to do is to warn you away from this color if you are expecting pink-ish, because it ain't pink. If you detest bright red orange, then my suggestion is not to chose this color.
The fabric is so soft and wonderful and fits me the way I like my clothes to fit. That is basically why I am disappointed by what I saw when I opened my package. I ordered two more tops in different colors, just to see if they are ok, and I am sending the orangey-pink one back. I do so LOVE this fabric!

I love this top. The weight will be perfect for my yoga classes come wintertime. The length is not quite tunic length, but is long enough to provide coverage for those "bending over moments" in class. I am 5'1" and 112 lbs and the small fits perfectly. Please note that I am pear shaped (small waist, larger hips and thighs). The cut of this top flatters my figure, but I'm not sure it would work for someone with an apple shape. It is slim in the arms as well, but that's not a problem for me.

The sleeves on this comfortable pullover are designed with a button and tab that allow you to keep them rolled up to 3/4 length. However, the bottom of the sleeve is too tight so while it's perfectly fine to wear the sleeves down, rolling them up isn't really possible without having them bind your forearm. I am not overweight, so this isn't a factor of having fat arms.
The burnished orange heather color is perfect for me, and I will be keeping this pullover- but I'll be cutting off the tabs and wearing the sleeves down.

Rated 4 out of 5 by LLHaricotine Unusual texture and colour
This sweater, in burnt orange,is just roomy enough and fits me nicely. Beware : the sleeves are a little tight around the forearm, which makes them nearly impossible to roll up. The 'heathered' colour is beautiful and unusual. The fabric is a little lighter than I expected, but that doesn't bother me.
My 21-yo daughter has already borrowed it from me! :)

This is not really "lightweight." It's a little heavier than that, which makes it drape well. It's the perfect weight for the walks I take in the morning and evening 5 months of the year. I love this; I'll probably get more. The solid color is kind of heathery, which I like a lot.

Striping in the yarn is well done. Color is saturated. Nice. The roll tabs were unnecessary. Fit is slightly small. My usual size still fit but would have been nicer if it were roomier. Looks nice with my Spring Point vest. I think it is a very nice "sweat" type top.
