Boots were too tight, very hard to put on or take off, and length too short even though I ordered a 1/2 size up. Material construction was fine, appearance was good, but very clunky to walk in, and with the tight fit, had to return these. I am still searching for a great boot for Midwest winters.

Rated 4 out of 5áby MrsColson These are tough boots!!
I had an older model, which were too small and hurt my shins (somehow) so I ordered these ones instead, a much newer model. The color of the black/river blue really struck me. I think these will take some breaking in, but I think that's because my feet are kind of weird. Overall I'm really excited to try these out in the winter. Honestly, I'd compare these to a technical hiking boot! These feel like they'll literally never come apart. They feel exactly like they're built for hard use!

Had a great pair of women's wildcat winter boots that zippered up. They were everything I was looking for in a winter boot till the zipper on one of the boots came away from the boot. I took my boots into LL Bean in Freeport and unfortunately them could not repair them. They could however let me get the "lace up" wildcat women's boots(they no longer had the kind the has a zipper). It was a great suggestion by the customer service person to try on the new style of boot to make sure they would fit right. There was one pair left at the Freeport Home store in my size and in the color I wanted, so I quickly headed upstairs and tried on the boots and they were a great fit!! I was very happy with my whole experience from customer service and on! Perhaps the laced boots will be better in the long run.

Rated 5 out of 5áby Jazzmyn Well made, comfortable
I had a pair of slip-on wildcat boots that gave up the ghost last year, and I wish they still made these boots as a slip-on. But the lace-ups seem fine, although I haven't worn them yet. They seem better made than the lace-ups, which split around the top of the toe between the rubber and the rest of the shoe. I'm looking forward to testing these out.
